Where exactly do we put a sheet when we want to apply?

Where exactly do we put a sheet when we want to apply?
It might not take much of her mental attention, but she'd have to stop holding up the barrier to stab her. And seeing as "the space is too small for either Red Rose or your sister to bring enough power to bear against either barrier without killing Insight", what makes you think there's enough space for her to do it anyway, or that Insight wouldn't be killed by it?Hm... no, I really do not see how anything of that kind would work. Insight is right next to Red Rose, inside the barrier. White Soul would have to bring a clone into the confinement.
I doubt that keeping the second barrier from shrinking takes up that much of RR's attention... so the moment she notices WS is gone or appears in her reach, it means Sudden Death before WS gets to do anything to Insight. Red should be far faster in that regard.
The context for this discussion was what happens when White Soul gets bored of failing to kill us and goes for something other than Soul Rend.Plus, WS is kind of busy with us right now; in her mind, she can still kill Insight and Sega once she is done with Nepgear.
(1) First suggestion of using the Conceptual Language as a weapon. Suggestions of using it on White Soul. It being brought up during this voting period.(1) Um.... no? I suggested it as a means to stun her or knock her out since the very beginning.
(2) As for deleting the body, Ana can just switch tracks and charge the one that remains; after Soul Rend, she can not create a new one and we can fly over ~50m in less than a second. So when the first one is gone, just go for the second.
(3)It being painful... I agree with. However, most of the pain in an attack comes from the damage it does; seeing that Nepgear is still far above her regular Maximum Health (and seeing that the previous damage from WS was not even acknowledged), I suspect it is either dulled or does not happen at all unless she falls beneath that.
(4) If Soul Rend has an additional painful component... well, we are No Longer Human and pretty used to a lot of pain by this point. (5) That might be a small hole in the plan, but just blasting away while she can still dodge has the same due to us not being sure if she can morph out of the way of Starshine.
The current version of Don't Mess With Divinity said:-[X] The moment she does, charge at her and call out [PEACE] in the Conceptual Language from as close as possible to stop her from reacting, then cast Starshine on her.
What happened to this?Actually, my main problem is that I do not want to destroy the place as the first option.
And it's just one example. Here's another: she gets a clone down by the barriers, then sends the White River over the wall and kills Insight. And another: she picks up dirt/pulverizes stone and blinds us with a dust cloud, then goes for Soul Rend while we can't see her other body. And another: she sends one body back in the building and asks for help from whoever's inside or grabs another piece of Brandcraft or picks up a grenade and throws it over the barrier/wall to kill Insight or otherwise gets something to help her win.
There haven't really been many votes or much consolidation. Using conceptual language is currently in the lead by one vote, over my Rain of Light plan, with it's whopping five votes.*blink* okay, i haven't been able to keep track of plans and what not due to other things, but is using conceptual language actually the winning vote? The thing we have no idea the range for is completely unpredictable and unknown?
That doesn't mean they will be in any shape to continue the mission, however. We should not be using an untested weapon that splats allies here.We were told that if were at the other end of the hallway no one on our side will die from speaking with the conceptual language.
(1) Missing the point. These are just examples. If you're coming up with individual reasons they won't work, you're doing it wrong. The point is that she has options and is competent enough to take advantage of them. The point is that we cannot anticipate everything she might do. The point is that giving her time to plan, to be creative, to try things, is a bad idea.(1)...and to each of those, there is a simple solution.(2) First of all, the barrier has no openings or the three on the inside would have already found them. Heck, if it was just walls, they could have jumped out of it; no bringing anything inside without bringing herself inside.
(3) & (4) Nepgear is immune to status effects such as Dazzle and Blind.
(5) We were told that this is a Boss Rush, so no one but the Boss will fight; she might bring in some mooks, but we can paste them with little more than a thought.
Not assuming, it's just that that was the major advantage of your plan. Looking again, I see I missed the implication that you decided the collateral damage was worth it. My bad.I was convinced otherwise, even though some people assume this as not possible.
The Dazzle (False) that White Soul tried to use on you was functionally throwing liquid into your eyes. That ran up against your inherent barrier, which protected them.(3) That's Goddess Gold. Solid Core is immune to damage over time effects, mental pollution and mind control. Speaking of which—@crystalwatcher, why did ICORE block Dazzle? It's not on the list of things we're protected from.
Personally I think people have been too eager to try and use Core Purge this arc. I mean I get that it's the only weapon Nepgear has that has IFF and so can take down Control Seals without killing the MG but both the name, inspired by the idea of a reactor purge, and fact it carries a penalty to both Health and Base Resilience tell me it's not something that should be thrown around so often. It's the best plan currently running. I would really like an explicit backup plan, though. My suggestion is Core Purge to get some breathing room, then try to free our allies.
Now we've never actually used Purifier Beam, or any of our spells, while Core Purge is active however given that the Purifier Beam is a release valve:The thing that Lost is laughing about is the nature of Core Purge and the Purifier Beam in relation to Nepgear's nature as Solid Core. I don't want to say too much on it, but Core Purge is a lot more than just a sacrifice health, do damage, ability. While it's active, it's easier to describe it as a change in Nepgear's combat style.
That change though is up to you guys to figure out through trial and error.
I'd expect damage to drop massive, possibly even to the point of it not functioning at all, since actually exposing the core like Core Purge does is going to drastically drop the pressure. If you took the assumption that you were a power core, instead of just another Magical Girl...
"The Purifier Beam is probably some kind of release valve." That made sense. So long as you held the trigger, the Purifier Beam had never seemed to run out of charge for it's attack. It would spout a continuous beam of energy so long a the 'valve' was open... "Well... Let see if I'm right."
You swing the Purifier Beam out to the side, taking aim at the ground, away from the base. A moment to make sure there was nothing else in an area, you pull the trigger. The beam that comes out is larger than you remember it being from your fight with the Spawn of Mayhem. Instead of being around the size of your torso, what instead spears across the space is enough to envelop a fully grown man. As the energy hits the ground, surrounding shrubbery dries out almost instantly and ignites into miniature pyres.
Still holding the trigger, you sweep the beam across the ground, and you listen to it as it tears through rock and dirt. Bushes and grass ignite along the edge of it's path, molten rock cooling into crackling glass as the heat dissipates at an unnatural pace. In moments, a line of destruction arcs across the ground below you: smoke rising from burning plants, while the angry red scar slowly blackens. The new ditch is two feet wide and at least four deep.
"Seems I'm right." If the Purifier Beam was a release valve... then Core Purge was probably opening a connection directly to the Core.
This is the final boss, of this mission. That doesn't mean they will be in any shape to continue the mission,
The final confirmed boss. There's been hints that there's a secret boss waiting for us after this.
