Is it me.. or is all this rules and regulation and tradition grinding on Zelda's confidence.

Question about the Hinox and Stalnox: Do they have weapons dangling off them like in BOTW?

For a Hinox/Stalnox takedown I think we should prepare the ground with Lightning Chuchu jelly, any explosives if we have them, and then clear a path of monsters to the best of our ability, so that when we begin combat we can continually conduct a fighting retreat down a prepared path and not deal with multiple combatants. We should also leave backup weapons and shields along our path of retreat so that we can keep killing it without fear.

We may want to kill a few monster camps for their shields using only weapons we steal off their corpses for Perfect Guard first.

Kids always ask the most innocent of questions that are highly embarassing to answer :D

Also. *facepalm* Link and the others are so oblivious to innuendo.

[X] Guards! Guards! (IE: Say hi to the guards)

It would be a good Idea to talk to the guards to get some tips and tricks to use against any enemies we may encounter including the Hinox.

Your not the only one who is thinking that. And I think Paya might be a sage since she was compared to the other two who I take to mean Zelda and Mipha.

We will need Arrows, Fire Arrows, A couple of Shields, 2 or 3 speed and hearty elixirs each, and a whole lot of luck to do this. So we should plan carefully.

Edit: Sorry guys I messed up. No Elixirs at all. So we need to strategize what equipment we are going to take with us.

I'm not sure on the Fire Arrows or Speedy Elixirs personally, since if BotW memories serve me right, no buff sprinting can usually outspeed them and I don't think Fire Arrows will do anything useful to either of the Noxes. I am in full agreement with the shields and hearty elixir, and think that Shock Arrows might be good though we might have to steal it from a Red Lynel hopefully the Lizalfos nearby will stock them so we can loot their corpses for it.

Actually, that's a good reason to vote for Guards; we'll get an idea of the local monster demographics.

No, you won't. You're going to hang out with them with that vote.

You will not get the opportunity for any of this. It's a ritualized battle with very specific rules as Impa told you.

Also, before people complain: Impa will replace any gear you may or may not lose if you decide to do it tonight.

Huh. Guess the guards don't like talking about work when hanging out.

Also: AHHHHHHH SINGLE COMBAT NO ARMOR NO HEALING NO PREP AHHHHHH

I would seriously consider taking on a Lynel if it meant that the mount for infinite durability trick worked.

"There is but.... well, I'm afraid I don't have any of that item for sale," Rola tells you, looking apologetic.
I guess we need to find some Hyoi Pears.
"I can see through Elrora's eyes!" Zelda crows, hopping up and down and making Elrora give an annoyed squawk, "She's the perfect scout now!"
.....Or that, I guess that works too.
various chores and duties she devotes herself too that she never seems to ever have time

"It's powerful enough that unless the clothes get majorly damaged it won't dispell, and it'll reapply itself when the outfit is repaired."

The vote says meet 'some' of Zelda's class. It's late in the day, so does that mean that not all of them are there right now?

Yeah, about that... remember how some of us were begging @Bag of Bones to include backup weapons or any shields (or chuchu jelly!) in the plan that everyone bandwagoned onto... yeah, we don't have any. If that Zora blade snaps for any reason, we're basically stuck using battlefield salvage until we limp home. We also don't have any shields, so Perfect Guard is offline indefinitely.

Look I'm going to be straight with you: Sheikah weapons are not great, while Zora weapons are just better on average. If you bought multiple weapons it would have been pointless as you would have physically been unable to carry them because Link has to physically walk there. Buying multiple sets of weapons is essentially pointless as whenever you'll be in a situation to need those weapons you will not have access to them due to the physical reality of Link already carrying a ton of stuff.

Also, the Chuchu jelly is pointless as you have high-tier Jelly for every elixir bottle you own right now. You could have bought more admittedly to future-proof, but as GM I can tell you that you should consider the quality of elixirs rather than quantity. You also can not bring them with you for Impa's test.

Hm. Reading back through things, interesting that the blue tunic brings nostalgia to Link. Was it because his father wore it? Or did one of the past Links wear it?

Also, did anyone else catch the old woman asking Link to basically love all three of the girls?

Harem protagonist is a go?

I wonder if any of the other royal guard made it out of the castle during the massacre? Because each and every one of them would be a pretty awesome fighter.

I think that we should have Link and Zelda train in the day after. Both of them really need to practice their special powers sooner or later.

It's the Royal Guard tunic. His dad was a Royal Guard. Hell, he spend a lot of the time in the castle with royalty who is presumably protected by the Royal Guard. It would be weirder if he didn't recognize it.
It's presumably also the Champions Tunic from the game.
