So, The Goddess of Love and Death chooses the mortals over her fellow Gods? Such an interesting choice, for you are also the Goddess of the Seasons, Beauty, and Health. The other Gods tried to convince you to abandon the mortals, but you stood by your decision and now you are alone, the only deity left in all of Aeonia, with the exception of the slumbering Ouroboros. The Archdragon still lies dormant, circling the world with his immense body, deep in their dreamless sleep. But now dear Goddess, dearest Mia, which race is it that has earn your affections so? Which people shall you rule over and guide towards a brighter future first? Who is it that Death has come to Love most of all?
[]-The Aetherials: One of the races created by the Celestials, they are a race deeply tied to the ebb and flow of Magic, and all of them can cast spells. They possess a keen intelligence and are a scholarly folk at heart. Their ears are pointed and possess markings upon their bodies that amplify their natural magical power.
[]-Skyborn: Another of the races created by the Celestials, the Skyborn are a brave and loyal people ready to fight for their home and loved ones. They make their homes among the clouds, shaping them into cities and towns. They can also manipulate the weather with this ability.
[]-Terrans: The last of the races created by the Celestials, the Terrans are a strong and hardy people. They are skilled in the ways of agriculture and have a deep connection to nature, able to grow bountiful harvests in even the most desolate of wastelands. They are also fine craftsmen.
[]-Taurus: The Bull-Men, they are brutish and tough, tougher than most Terrans in fact, but possess a strange lack of magical potential. They are tribal people, following the will of the "Great Spirits" of the World as interpreted by Shamans. They are resistant to magic.
[]-Gryphonians: Bipedal hybrids of an eagle and lion, these are a proud and noble people. While they lack the power to shape the weather like the Skyborn, they still may walk upon clouds as though they were the ground. They also fierce and skilled warriors, a single Gryphonian soldier equal to ten of the other races.
[]-Stone Wolves: Really, are you certain? They are savages and raiders of the worst kind and are quite stupid. Though they possess a durability unmatched, and their few rare mages are powerful wielders of Earth Magic, they are scattered and more likely to fight you than follow you.
[]-Faeries: Ah yes, the mysterious Fae. Masterfully infiltrators and deceivers thanks to their incredibly potent shapeshifting and empathetic abilities, you must be weary of whom you can trust, for the Seasonal Courts will attempt to gain your favor and The Fae King and Queen will attempt to undermine you.
[]-Dragons: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Nope!
Now that you have chosen, I propose a bargain. You may choose a flaw from the following, and in exchange I shall grant you something in...compensation.
You May Pick Multiple Flaws/Complications.
[]-Nemesis: Somewhere in Aeonia, there is a being that rivals your power that seeks to undo you and your civilisation. The only way to stop them is to slay them. As compensation, you may choose another Theme, Major or Minor, to give you a better chance at defeating them. (You can choose this Twice.)
[]-War: Oh my, it would appear you've manage to enter into a War with another kingdom. Choose a race, you are now at war with them. As compensation, you start out with a larger Army.
[]-Legion of The Dead: Well now, looks like some aspiring Overlord has raised a legion of the undead minions to try to conquer Aeonia. As compensation, you can select a second Race.
[]-The Dragon War: Oh, this is bad. Ouroboros, The Dragon God of Eternity and Infinity, has died completely. Now the Dragon Lords are fighting each other to determine who will be the new Archdragon. As compensation, you may select another Race and a Major Theme.
[]-They Come: There is something wrong with you, why would you choose this? Beings of pure madness, shambling horrors from beyond mortal comprehension, things even Abyss would fear. They have come for this insignificant world and seek to drag it into as mad Hell of chaos and insanity. As compensation, you may pick two additional Races and Themes.
Choose wisely now, the fate of this world is in your hands after all.
