You shoot up from the dream rubbing your head and breathing deeply as the strange dream lingered in your thoughts. Being forged into a sword? that was... really disturbing. Not even painful, just... viscerally disturbing.
Anyway, you rubbed your eyes and glanced at the clock, only to roll your eyes. of course, it's not even four thirty in the morning. Christ. Regardless, you get up and make breakfast. You rummage through your cabinets and find a few packets of oatmeal, and start up the kettle. You settle into your recliner and pause for a moment. That dream... It felt so real. more than that. it felt... it felt like a memory. To distract yourself from your thoughts you open up a laptop and decide to wander the web for a bit, but you find yourself looking into...

You get so enthralled that you keep reading as you finish making up your breakfast. After eating a bowl of oatmeal with honey and berries, a glass of orange juice, and a cup of Tea (you are English after all), you settle in for the few hours before school starts.
You only really wind up your research by the time you have to get ready to go, and even as you leave, something about what you read is stuck in your head. (Temparoraily gained trait [Inspired]). Regardless, you head for the school, walking through the still somewhat gloomy dawn, a light mist sitting on the streets.

Major Event Triggered!
AS you walk through the streets, you turn to take an alley that lets you cut through dealing with a roundabout up ahead. you only just turn to head down the alley before you stop. at the end of the alley, are three figured, dressed in loose street clothes, and bright colors. they look at you with what can only be described as menacing sneers.
"Hey'ya Bruv? You wanna come this way, Mate, You gonna gotta pay the toll!" One calls out, coming to the front. He's tall. Maybe half a foot on you, and the rest of his cronies are about the same. He's also got his head shaved and tattoos that peek out from the collar of his shirt. he's smiling in a very menacing way, and you turn to head back out the alley only to almost run head first into a fourth guy, this one in a heavier jacket and with dark spiky hair and a smile with missing teeth. You instinctively skip back a step to keep out of his reach and look round.
Spiky-haired chuckles. "Come on then gov, just give it up before we have to beat it up."
COMBAT ROUNDS!
I'll try and update daily for this event, or nightly, depending on what part of the world you live in.
Now, On combat. I'll almost always submit 2-3 basic options for each engagement. these will basically boil down to "Diplomacy/Intrigue" "Combat" and "Flee". You can always enter a choice of your own if you desire, and feel free to make them complex or as simple as you want. You can also choose to use traits in your pick. For example, the GM options for this round are:
[]Duck around the lone guy and run. [Flexibility 1] [City Streets; London] [Persistant]
[]Try and convince them to let you go...
-[]By convincing them you have nothing to offer.[Long Nights] [Alone in the City]
-[]That you will happily pay up![Handsome] [Persistant]
[]Attack the lone guy behind you! [Memories of the Throne] [Driven] [Affinity: Steel]
[]Write in.
For this encounter, Your choice will likely only have minor lasting effects [Temp traits]. none of these guys are planning to seriously hurt you, and you don't have any traits that would encourage you to be excessivly violent in return.
However.... The dice can always fuck you.
After this first combat encounter, I'll post a better post for the comabt overview in the info thread marks.at that point, I'll erase the italics here.
