You didn't even need to consider, and as soon as you understood what the man was asking of you, you immediately received a notice in response. Noticing the screen that popped up after you nodded, it read
You touched the [Yes] button for the adoption. That screen closed itself and, once again, a new screen took it's place.
The man in the black coat smiled that grateful smile again. The smile made you sure it was worth it. "I'll fill out the paperwork." Kiritsugu suddenly announced, standing up he quickly rushed out of the room with a wide smile wide of his face. You really wanted to bring cheer to other people like that man, Kiritsugu, your new Father is for you.
After a moment, a new screen came up, reading
Huh. you didn't know what a Magus was, but you really didn't like the word killer being in one of your titles. Nevertheless, you wasn't about turn down an extra title.
Only then did you close the screen. When the next screen came up, it read
For now you chose [Emiya Clan Heir], if just to see what [Time Magecrft] is. What did that machine say? Oh right. "[Skills Menu]"
Never losing your smile, you nod, you trusted Kiritsugu. Why shouldn't you? You closed your eyes and sleep claimed you again.
You opened them an indefinite amount of time later. Panic filled you. Kiritsugu wasn't beside him anymore but his coat was still there so he hadn't left him. you relaxed again and did the only thing you could. Listening to the noises around you.

Pretty obvious that Shirou is from a mage family.
Maybe, after he encounters Rin and they become friends, if he reveals he was from one, she can look through her family papers and find out his birth identity.
After he figures out how he could get that info without being the Gamer, and is convinced she won't try to turn him into a dissection specimen.

Never said he wasn't it. Always bothered me that he had 27 natural circuits when regular mages only had on average 20.
In this story no one except maybe Kiritsugu will have knowledge that Shirou is The Gamer.
