If we're worried that Minami is about to attack--and I agree it's possible, though I don't think it's likely--then maybe the first thing we do should be to yell "Weapons Down! No fighting!" Try to get through to her that no, we're not about to attack her.

These are the most likely outcomes of Kagomes actions. Not bringing them up will be conspicuous in its absence.
Noburi currently has something of an adversarial relationship with Minami, Keiko has a style that is likely to rub her the wrong way. Akane might get through to her, true, but currently we have the best impression.

Hard to make jōnin without leaving Leaf, at least unless you're Naruto. (And maybe even then - there's only so far you can stack identical experiences.) The teleportation could also have non-trivial activation conditions (e.g. "anticipate your imminent death at the hands of the forces of evil").
