Time and again the Dragon have watched and waited and refused to act when they could and should...let's change that, and make the Dragon into the heroes they always should have been.

It was a tough choice between this and the ronin option, but muh Lion Clan. Muh last honorable man in Rokugan.

Not really a fan of the Daigotsu option, it makes things more about Shadowlands family drama and the Last Samurai should be a Samurai of Rokugan.

With that said, if there was a choice for Hida Taka I would take that in a heartbeat.

The true measure of honor is not to give battle surrounded by comrades in the bright dawn of war. It is to fight on alone in the darkness, beyond all hope of victory or even remembrance, and spit defiance into midnight's eye.

Daigotsu could be amusing, in that he would know about as much about his putative culture as whatever foreign place he ended up in. Crane just seems... too serious, and I'm not a huge fan of Dragon's character write-up for reasons I'm not sure I can articulate. So, lion, or nameless.

Well I want to be honorable, and I'm not sure I trust players to do so without incentive...

I really don't want Akodo, for whatever reason. Never been into Lions.

I'm genuinely torn between clanless and Spider, but given that Spider has like one vote at the moment...

My voting was decided basically entirely on him having the highest honor score. Honor is awesome. It's as much a downside as an upside, but, for those who share my opinion, high honor is its own reward.

Normally I don't much care for the lion, but it feels appropriate for this quest. Also from an optimization perspective I don't like the replace and reduce by one rank options one bit.

I'm not a fan of luck manipulation in quests. Now if there were Shinjo or Bayushi options I'd be arguing for that.

Seriously, how poetic would it be that the last samurai of Rokugan was a Scorpion who stood against the Spider? If there is one thing Scorpions understand it is loyalty. Alas, no heroic arthropods for me.
