Actually, because of the way the rules are set up, it does have synergy with all of sealing.

You start by raising MedKnow to 10. This decreases the TN of a bioseal you want to make (let's say a paper tag where you tie it around someone's wrist and it displays their blood pressure).

Then having researched that bioseal, all seals related to that bioseal also have their TNs reduced (for example, a seal that measures the steam pressure in a primitive steam engine that we try to build).

It's indirect, but you'll find that biological systems do a lot of things that we might want to research and then convert to nonbiological seals. And having lower TNs on bioseals makes that much easier.

See, when I read "bioseal" I think "Arikada" not "hospital" :p
 
Again, if you want to get into bioseals, ask Jiraiya about them first rather than try to spec into them in ignorance. Also, check to see if Leaf already has any bioseal experts that we could have work on any ideas before spending XP ourselves.

      • Do this before lunch with Shikamaru.
      • Ask Minami if it would be possible for Hazou to learn (or if it's a clan secret kinda thing), and further if she would be willing to teach him the basics (this shouldn't take long given the Iron Nerve).
        • Earning the Nara's respect as fellows intellectually and showing willingness to learn their ways (at least, those they are willing to share) would be advantageous.
    • Ask Noburi if he wants to revisit Dr. Yakushi while we're out.
      • Remind him we're still his minion for a research project.

Hazō is a prime assassination target. Even if the villages don't want to kill him, some whacky end-the-world ninja might.

So we must improve combat skills even if we never use them again.

We have nothing to test here because Propulsion Seals do not yet exist. They would need to be researched first.

Also, do we want to show Jiraiya the burning log variant of the Macerator? I don't think it would get Watcher attention, but just asking him if it'd be too risky to use is something we should do.

I'd argue a ninja of that skill (able to infiltrate Leaf and our ANBU guards/Mari-sensei/Jiraiya) would kill us no matter how much combat we train.

I am well aware that we have access to two potential S-ranked family member, at least one jonin level mother. I also don't want to be a sheer liability for our ANBU guards. They perform best when their VIP isn't a burden.

Also, do you want to be confined to the village forever? I don't.

Given that skywalkers strongly benefit ranged fighters at the expense of melee, we may want to give Hazō weapon skills.
 
We may want to talk to Mari and Kagome about whether we should suggest Noburi learn to use medical ninjutsu from range.

I mean, if that gets out, the Sage would have reason to kill and rez him so he could fix Dummy. ...Unless the Sage broke Dummy on purpose, anyway.

No, we should not alter our behavior at all for fear of the Sage. If he actually does still exist and things are more or less as Kagome says, then if the Sage wants any of us dead, we will die. The only thing this can do is harm us in universes where we aren't already fucked.
 
Here's an altered version of my plan that divides things more cleanly into 4 scenes, plus a "read seals offscreen" thing. No changes from the plan, it's just structured differently. The original plan has the unaltered version.

Do you guys think this works better?

This should be given much more focus IMO, almost to the exclusion of anything else we ask Kagome. More or less, we shouldn't be asking him what he thinks he knows, but rather why he thinks he knows it. I think we will be much better equipped to reason about the data points than Kagome is.
