Ask Akane how you know when you like someone. She's older than you, she probably has it figured out, right? Watch her blush, let her respond. Then tell her she checks off all those boxes for you (or a lot of them; don't lie if she brings up things that don't apply). Probably hold her hand or brush her hair off her forehead or something, I'm pretty sure that's what people do with people they like.

Ask Noburi how long he thinks it'll be before Akane's off a strict hospital food diet. If there's a good chance it's soon, check with Kabuto. If it is soon:
Ask Akane if she has a favorite soup (or other comfort food that she can eat while recovering). Tell her we'll try to bring her some when we have storage seals or containers to take it in.

I don't think it's necessary to go CCnJ and resolve this right away, but I support letting Hazou and Akane feel out what a closer relationship might be like. (@OliWhail and other heretics; at the least, it'll help them figure out whether that's what they want.)

Alright, it seems like we're getting closer to a prototype. I'm still worried about the valve, since a failure mode for that is that it opens completely, either by human error or mechanical failure, and BOOM SQUISH I TOLD YOU STINKERS. Why not also write the seal on, say, hard leather or something similar? Strong enough that it won't be ripped apart by wind, and elastic enough that it won't just crack like clay or marble under stress. We can also have failsafes for the valve, as well. The other thing that needs working on is how to suspend the seal in the center of the balloon, and remotely activate it.
Thinking forward, we still need some way to release the air in a non-explosive manner, if we want to reuse the seals. The idea as it stands only allows us to go up once as per the seal, and descend, using the valve. We might also want to research shaped implosion seals, to use as propulsion in the future.

As far as I'm aware, blackouts from concussion last maybe two minutes, tops, or they turn into comas. A sleep or paralysis jutsu, possibly applied by handstrike to the head, seems more likely.

The one other Library subplan has waaaaaay too much stuff to try and get done in a single afternoon. This is a much shorter version designed to get the players enough info to decide where to focus Hazou and the team's efforts in the rest of our time in Konoha.

- Figure out how the library/ies is/are organized - what subject areas are there that relate to politics, mathematics, social science and psychology, logistics, engineering, chakra and ninja arts (particularly sealing and technique hacking), natural sciences, agriculture, and tactics

I must disagree, on the basis that following the plan as-is leads to us spending the entire time reading the History of the Elemental Nations instead of sorting through all available subjects (since you say "seek out and read").
Even if Shika-chan loans us his, I would rather spend our whole first time at the library doing meta-work than actually reading.
