[x] Scare as many of them off as you can (roll Flame: 0)

Rolling with a lower score makes us more likely to get a Fun result in the Dwarf Fortress sense.

You are attempting to engage a room full of armed assailants, buying yourself time before your colleague makes good on her half of the plan. Most of the targets present are not a threat to you, but they come in numbers, and a vampiric assassin you've fought before is among them. In the small maelstrom of violence that is about to occur, what happens?

This is a plan vote. Please pick two from the following list:

[ ] No one who matters is caught in the crossfire
[ ] You aren't significantly injured
[ ] Your lady isn't disappointed
[ ] Your most significant enemy doesn't gain an advantage

[X] Plan: What selfishly matters most
-[X] You aren't significantly injured
-[X] Your lady isn't disappointed

I would prefer to stay in tip top physical shape. And disappointing our lady feels bad.

Also the fun implication of our lady not being disappointed even if random bystanders get dragged in. Small fry don't matter huh?

[X] Plan: Opening Assault
-[X] You aren't significantly injured
-[X] Your most significant enemy doesn't gain an advantage

The room is full of enemies right? It would be nice to have a good opening assault, and prevent our opponent from gaining an advantage

Dove listens to the reply, hunching his shoulders down low, before the call ends. He reaches for the hatch, but hesitates, glancing back at you. "If you left now, you could just... throw me into a wall and go."

You stare back at him, raising your eyebrows fractionally.

A look of mild panic comes into Dove's voice. He says, his voice dropping to a hissing whisper: "You know this isn't right, don't you? He didn't tell me what, but it's going to be bad."

You're a little surprised and impressed at the warning. You hadn't previously thought that Dove had the spine to risk so much, let alone for your sake. "I have my duty," you tell him.
Doves a good sort. I don't want him to end up splattered across some wall. 🥺

[X] Plan: Strategic Decapitation
-[X] Your Lady isn't disappointed
-[X] Your most significant enemy doesn't gain an advantage

Any plan that leaves our lady disappointed is a no for me. We stay in her good graces and effectively deal with our most significant foe at the same time.

Collateral damage? Doesn't matter much. We're a Axe, not a scalpel. Injured? Weapons tend to chip and degrade when used, it's just in our nature.

We're a weapon in our lady's hand. Nothing else matters.

[X] Strategic Decapitation

We'll get better, and its certainly not worth risking our lady's satisfaction for the sake of anyone not smart enough to clear out in the face of this.
