While the axe is perhaps less elegant than the other options, I kind of like that in itself. Honey isn't a refined courtly partner that serves her lady with polite words and graceful steps. She's a weapon.

She speaks in whispers and violence, a true hatchetwoman

Plus, in tight quarters, it works wonders.

And as an added bonus, it honestly fits us, like you said.

We're basically it in flesh form.

I disagree. All of these weapons represent different aspects of Honey. This is simply focusing on which she has found most solace in over the years. Spear is her straightforward nature and the beauty in her execution of violence that makes her all the more intimidating. "I am danger and Beauty. Admire my petals, but fear my thorns."

I'll be real: I think the axe is a cooler and more distinct weapon, visually. It has a cooler silhouette, it lends itself to dramatic two-handed chopping blows, it's rad.

But these are also armaments that represent something about our mech. And the sword mech sounds way cooler than the axe mech, imo.

An Axe will add beauty and compensate for the slash.

There's something mechanical to the axe that catches my eye, there's a certain degree of flourish and grace that one can wield a sword or a spear. An axe is a tool bereft of its purpose, who in this dying world is going to use it to split timber when every tree is among the last of its kind? An orphaned instrument, unlike a spear or sword which have existed since time immemorial solely to draw blood, the axe's meaning is to fall back on that task as all that remains, without any school of thought or artistry even long forgotten to humanity in its past. An axe is a metal edge you swing until the object of your hostilities is hewn. Nothing more, nothing less.
