He might distrust of the message or the phone, and we really need it, and even if he we tell him and he trusts the message, he might do something beyond him later trying to reach Annette's location.

The blue haired boy might be the protagonist of the original devil survivor, and the people he appears with characters from his game, or the protagonist of persona 3 but that's unlikely from the lack of mentioning the dark hour.
The detective might be Raidou Kuzunoha, or might be another character I don't remember. And Jin I also don't remember, while the man in robes might be a shomonkai member but might be other characters, It doesn't give enough of a description, and the worm characters I assume everyone already recognizes.

I do have some vague ideas for how each of the possible Annette choices will effect Danny, if only because of one major thing.

As a Devil Child, your very nature makes it impossible for a Shard to connect to you. Which means that there has only ever been one Hebert for QA to work with.

Joining up with the ds1 crew could work we need to find a way to killsteal beldr, by day 2, def want to look for Naoya or Loki who run around in ds1.

If one understands correctly, the arcade seems the option that would hopefully allow Taylor to encounter the reincarnation of Abel, the hero of Devil Survivor 1. The hero and his best friend, Atsuro.

As to Jin, hm, there is a Shirato Jin from Persona 3, though it is uncertain if it is him here.

Taylor was feeling really lonely and isolated before this, and I think reaching out to Dad will help make that better.

She's just started reconnecting, and hiding this will probably interfere with that.

Not because of "what if he finds out?", but because of what it means to Taylor to try.

I like my SMT's neutral, even if it means I'm a filthy centrist.

More seriously, Chaos is freedom yes... but it's absolute Freedom. If someone comes along and Kills you and keeps everyone else under their heel, there's nothing stopping them from doing so - if they can do it, they're free to do it. You're free to ovethrow and kill them also, but you can see how it quickly becomes a Might Makes Right mindset.

Neutral isn't really Freedom either per se, but more... well, I'd argue it's typically portrayed as the one most in line with Humanity. Transient in some ways, implied to require a level of constant effort to maintain it, but without the ideological extremes of Heaven and Hell.

Edit: After Lunaryons post regarding the differetn natures that different axioms would give Anette, I can't help but choose Light Chaos. It feels the most fitting.

Honestly, struggling to think of what else to vote for tho-

Anyway, now that I'm fixated on this - Our build is High Agi and Int, mid Mag and End, low Str. Now I know that gun skills is one of the core parts of this, but I think we also are going to play another highly vital role - We're fast, you see. You know what that means? Yes that's right, it means we get to do stuff before the enemy.

Like Go Get The Buffs.

Chaos isn't even reliably freedom.

Strange Journey's chaos end is basically "boot on face forever" for humanity, without any hint of a chance for individuals to wind up on top.

Given the nature of the problem in SJ being caused by humanity, both sides are kinda going to very actively fuck us over. Any ending where humanity might be in a position to do that is antithetical to the factions goals. Chaos has a world where everyone can choose what they want to do, and what the Demons and Gods of that world want is to fuck up humanity in particular to make sure nothing bad can happen again..

Fucked up? Yeah. Entirely in line with their overall motives and themes given the context of the threat and problems? Also yes.



Edit: This isn't to say I like the nature of the Strange Journey Chaos route - I just think that's more a result of the whole 'Mother Nature is Pissed' element and both Supernatural factions wanting to deny humanity the chance to cause that colliding with the Chaos factions overall themes.

I'd argue that, whilst kinda saccharine for SMT, the Strange Journey Redux endings for both Law and Chaos show the more positive elements of both factions. Elements that I think are important for what SMT is trying to say as a whole, and why Neutral isn't intended to be the 'Good' option.

Sorry I'm like half a step off doing a rambling diatribe about this. New Hyperfixation.
