Just to point out, do we actually have a way to fight the demons if we don't take one of the contracts, whether Velvet, Fiend, or Angel? Cause, that might be a problem if we can't talk them around to working with us
Yes - It was mildly mentioned in the description before the vote itself, but the Demon Summoning Program contains a separate program with it called a Harmonizer, which sort of alters the metaphysical wavelengths of humans and demons to be more in line with one another, so that you hit harder and they don't hit as hard. Balancing the two out.
Additionally, under normal circumstances, the first time that you use the Demon Summoning Program a relatively weak demon is summoned that you have to fight, and if you survive you Tame the demon, making it a part of your Clan, and becoming a lifetime ally of it. It is still a threat, but much less of one that it would be through a normal summoning.
As stated in the post where I first made the plan I Am Thou... I don't really know anything about SMT outside of Persona aside from 'apparently humanity is complete BS if you don't kill them off'. So I don't know why Persona stuff in an SMT would be regarded as 'lame' considering it's also part of the franchise.
I already stated why I included Skill_Crack. If you have a specific thing that you would like me to switch it out for, and can provide a comprehensible explanation as for why, I'm willing to consider it. And I don't know know who Naoya or Cain are in SMT, because as I've prior pointed out, I don't really know anything about SMT outside of Persona.
So please! Give explanations! Enlighten me, instead of just not-so-subtly saying that my plan is lame because I'm working with the knowledge that I do have!
Arguably, Personas are just one of like... five different ways that humans can tap into the power of demons, and it is humanity's ability to grow that truly makes them dangerous. Normally, they were be limited by normal human limits, but the moment they are freed from those...
Well, they can go and fist fight God and Win.
Naoya, from what I can tell, is the DemiFiend, the protagonist of SMT 3 Nocturne. He is absurdly powerful, you know how P3Reload had Joker as a secret boss? Naoya is that for SMT and he stands at the top of a series of bonus bosses in SMT 5. He decided the Reason the world would be reformatted under during the Conception Event of his game. Incidentally, if I understand things right, something like him is what "I'm Sorry" would turn Taylor into
Someone has already cleared up that Naoya is a different individual than Naoki (The Demi-Fiend, and the one offering a child of his Pixie as a guide to you)
But Devil Children/Demikids are...
I think the best way to phrase it is that Demi-Fiends and Nohobinos are a sort of artificial attempt to replicate the might of Devil Children. All things arrayed, Devil Children do actually have a higher power ceiling than Demi-Fiends and Nohobinos do, but whereas a Devil Child takes years to grow to the point of being able to access their powers naturally, and have a slower growth rate - A Demi-Fiend and a Nohobino both basically roll out of bed from the operation that created them and are already fighting at the level of a young higher ranked demon.
Nohobinos and Demi-Fiends also have natural anti precognition type stuff in their nature that Devil Children don't... So you aren't correct, but you're not wrong.
But yeah, while there are no plans to put you on the Throne of Bel, even if you do choose the option, the ability to get involved in the War for the Throne is there.
