...god, this choice is hard. If this was the only chance to unlock a starter persona, I would HAVE to pick Angry Mango, but I would also hate missing out on the others even more...
Sorry, Spartacus, you are a cool pick, you just lack the personal thematic relevance to be anything other than our third pick.

[X] A gleaming silver visor.

Better survivability for us and our teammates from the healing, slightly increased mana, and a new noble phantasm with a reduced cost to all knight of the round table phantasm. it helps in a multitude of scenarios, and it alights with shirou's goal of being a hero more than the other available options.

Yo thinking for a second, Persona are our inner self/Inner truth that we wish to represent, but they're informed by the collective thoughts and knowledge of humanity isn't it? just like the metaverse, prolly why Arthur's voice isn't a certain woman's and is instead a masculine one.

I get a bit of a lulz over it, it makes sense though, considering we're one of the few people who would know the truth of the matter.

Well, it's possible this timeline's Arthur was a man.

Anyway, I'm gonna reframe this question for myself: I'm choosing between being able to use Calaburn in the short term and improving our relationship with Angra in the short term. Still a crazy difficult choice...

But I want the sword of selection!

If Angra wins, I'll be perfectly happy with that, though.

BTW, are you going to make persona skills cause circuit strain? Because if you do, then you'll need to make drinking soda in the metaverse heal circuit strain, and that sounds absurd enough that I recommend making SP a separate resource.

52 vs 40, 80. Low Pass.
47(Roll)
+5(Rank C Strength)
2 vs 30, 60, 90. Fail.
7(Roll)
-5(Rank E Mana)
+0(Circuits Nominal)

Rerolling due to Beginner's Luck…

5 vs 30, 60, 90. Fail.
10(Roll)
-5(Rank E Mana)
+0(Circuits Nominal)

Wow that is… unfortunate.
MoS!Shirou:

Perk gained: False Knight E
Your soul has started to synchronize with Avalon, allowing the king and her knights' weapons to be more attuned to you.

When weapons owned by King Arthur or the Knights of the Round Table are projected, their cost is reduced by 25%. Carnwennan is added to the Armory.

Starting Spells:
Kouha(Bless)
Light Bless damage to one target.

Dia(Healing)
Heal an ally by an amount equal to 30 plus your Mana modifier.

We get an extra weapon (the same one we rejected in Fate/Master of Steel) and are one step closer to Tracing our main weapon, plus there is a Mana increase.

How will the stat buffs work with training? Like, if we choose Arthur, then train Mana up another third of a rank, would the next upgrade need 10 xp (it's considered to be E+ at this point, with Arthur giving a buff) or 20 xp (it's considered D- at this point, chosing Arthur effectively gave 10 xp)?

A 25% cost reduction on all Round Table weapons is nothing to scoff at, effectively being a 50 cost reduction on Caliburn immediately, alongside a new sword (or arrow, we're not picky) to use to compensate for that damage problem we had this update.

Also the one I love most narratively.

It's the dagger of invisibility, it let's us sneak good.

(Note: if the answer is the second option, I will be compelled to change my vote to Sparticus, because he would then literally just be giving the most XP.)

It would be closer to the latter, though I wouldn't recommend using MoS Shirou's levelling as a metric, they'll improve in different ways.
