We need something to protect us at school, that can be used to intimidate, that is high quality but does not wipe out all of our resources, and something easy to hide from everyone. I'm pretty sure that we could conceivably hide this anywhere.

Seems like a good fit. Agree with Azais for the most part. We don't have tech yet, but building in some access we can adjust when we get them is good sense.

In addition, I looked up ammo types, and the 44 was recommended as an excellent balance between recoil and power.

@Magoose will we be able to build just weapons or will we be able to create robots in the future? I want a robot bodyguard/butler and I want to know if we can create our own or is it better to buy one?

People in cyberpunk are not really trustworthy (apart from almost unique exceptions) and besides being a creator and not a fighter, we will need someone to be our muscle in the future.

We could just steal Boston Dynamics vibes and design companion drones like the dog.

I feel like drones are underutilized in the setting iirc.
 
We are going to need a lot more high quality components to build drones, vehicles, armor, or power armor. We'll want at least 3 very rare components, made ourselves or otherwise, and at least 30 rare ones before we try. Need to go dumbster diving next turn to recoup this ones parts expenses.

At the moment we are to early in the timeline for that.
 
You know I just want to say this:

I don't know what to call the firearms so I might just use some of the plan names as working firearm names.

And then work on giving them street names.

For our hidden hand gun maybe something like "Killers Handshake" since it's hidden near the hand. Or if your wanting to be derogatory a "Bitch Piece" considering it's hidden and more likely to be carried by little sneaks not "bad" enough to carry their gun honestly.

Or we could work with the current winning plans name and go with "Angel Maker" after the fact that people wind up at the pearly gates before they know what happened.

I think the angel wings will be good going forward. It's simple and we can totally make a brand around it.

Are we going to engrave the same thing on all our weapons as a signature or are we going to change it, making it unique for every weapon?
 
@Magoose I have a few quastions
1) what is stopping the MC from trying to kill off both his parents inherit all their money and private assets ?(the corp assets will be repossessed) and be home free because he hasn't signed an employment contract yet (after all he's not old enough for a job and it's not legally binding unless you sign it yourself) , you've established that the MC has zero emotional connection to them and his upbringing did nothing to instill morals into him if anything corpo school education would encourage that kind of thinking

2)seeing as the MC's parents are super rich corpo elite can we get top shelf bioware and get it installed in euro clinic ? I don't see a reason for the parents to say no since to them it would be a way to flex their money , connections and statues
(euro clinic installations means you roll twice for humanity loss and take the lesser value btw)

Changing it. For now at least we don't want people to know that their is a single guy making these and potentially wanting to meet with said hypothetical person and poach them for their side of the coming conflict. Best to present ourselves as a middleman to a group for now. People will hesitate to fuck with groups they know little about much more than they would a lone punk, no matter how badass.

We'll save our real motiff, the one eyed dragon, for when we want to start getting serious.

Also, another slang name that might work is "Blasphemy"

I would also like to know the second one because after I saw that the rich origin won I was excited to be able to take bioware, since normally it is never chosen with the need to be very rich and the best ones was in Europe.
