I don't follow the Module.

Let someone else do it, I don't want to put through Markus the experience of having utterly failed his comrades, his god, and his duty, because the moment the Enemy put actual effort into him, his vaunted skill and allies meant fuck-all.

I feel that hunting down this woman is the real importantthing as a hunter. The people that we took with us to hunt are gone. Perhaps we can find helping people rather than hurting people.

Yes. If you vote for Markus to die, then the quest will end.

The events in it might get referenced in future works and certain plot threads picked up etc, but this specific quest is Markus' story and will end with him.

Love how the town never sent anyone to check what is happening, there's beastmen right next to the town but nah why bother the certainly won't go and attack other farms after it.

Grissenwald will send people, but the attack happened at night and Black Peaks is a good couple of hours away from the town. Manning the walls and waiting for dawn to break before setting forth is the same choice Markus would have made in their place.
 
Let it rest. If he survives, given his luck, his life will be even more hell and leads to the death of all his people so die with honor.
 
Which paths would you actually say are open with the Break option @Maugan Ra?

Because the "failed your god and your order" thing seems like it'd close some doors.

Haven't been following the thread discussion much just the update, so sorry if it was already asked but what was the decision that kinda led to this fate. was it waiting for 5 weeks to heal? or was it trying to negotiate with the mutants and not just bring the town militia to help us?

I've got a few ideas in mind but I haven't hammered them down into a specific set of voting options or anything just yet.

That said, it is safe to assume that a Markus who breaks isn't going to switch to, say, Warrior Priest or the like, since that would more or less be the same job (roving Sigmarite Templar) under a different name.
