So, one thing I just noticed is that Lara is of an insectoid species and Jor-El is described as having a "stone man form"(idk if it's literal of figurative), but Clark is just described as a typical baby, so just want to understand what does he look like?

Human. I didn't spell it out for pacing reasons, but the Galactic Kryptonian Empire used Birthing Matrices that have a randomizer function. A family could choose what the form is too, which Jor-El did when he targeted Earth.
