The Enemy Within (WHF Witch Hunter Quest)

[X] Plead with Rikard

Wow. People really be ready to punch our brother for speaking the truth huh?

Edit: Adding in an aproval vote for Walk Away because I really don't want Marcus to live down to his worst impulses.

Either scruff him like a cat or by the front. This is an argument, between family. No need to let it fester, or get violent first.

"Do you think I do these things for fun?!? Let me do my job and we will never see each other again!"

This could work considering that Markus thinks he can pick his brother up and then carry him under a arm. Our brother needs to vent and so do we so let's take this conversation away from the servants.

Markus did what he was supposed to do considering his father was trying to learn magic from a witch and he has been beating himself up about how things went. His brother is the one it seems who has been having trouble with the truth.

Bro watched his old man die horrifically, as a direct consequence of our actions, for sponsoring the wrong person and reading the wrong books.

Even if a man was a mafia don, smuggling drugs and murdering rivals, surely you'd understand if his children loved him anyways. How does this differ?

[X] Walk Away

This was the correct option in a different circumstance with a different character in a different quest in a different setting, so I'm confident it'll be the correct option here.

That does not make Markus a bastard or anything else his brother said or him the person who can't handle the truth which is what the post I was responding to said. The younger brother is understandable but that does not mean he is in any right. Their father was a criminal who got punished more severely then maybe he should have but the man was playing around with his soul and witches so he would have a idea of what he was risking and did it anyway.
