Hm... I kind of like altered Renegade more, but I don't want the Tau and Tanith is always a great option.

The Dusk Raiders would have as little options as we do, apart from going back to the Imperium. But given the religious zealotry and their Albian roots, they might actually detest it. They were extremely taken by the Emperors vision, so seeing it so twisted might have some interesting side effects. The Dusk Raiders also have the sentiment to absolutely annihilate the enemies of the Imperium. Especially the Death Guard.

They are also the heavy infantry we need as an anvil for our operations. Great synergy with light units and overall Night Lord modus operandi if done correctly.

The Damnatii could be reformed into new Night Lords, and give us something new to work with. They shouldn't be as far gone as any existing Night Lords and are likely easier to mold into what we envision.

The Tanith Light Units... motivated by both sympathy and expectations. They would make for a great base to recruit future Marines from. They also have no home to return to, but also aren't strong enough to oppose Curze. Certainly an improvement for future Night Lords if we manage to integrate them as an auxiliary.

Kindred are interesting.

For once, maybe my vote in this quest will actually matter, lol. This is my preferred option amongst the 2 leading plans.

Honestly my main issue with the second place plan is the Inquisitor, I just cannot stand Inquisitors

My big problem with bringing in the Squads of Night Lords is that we're either potentially going to have to kill most of them if we don't want to be completely monstrous, or we're going to have to be as bad as them, which is not particularly interesting.

Maybe Curze can rein them in a little, but I have my doubts, as funny as it would be to find a way to make them at least try to play nice.
