Gods of Creation (Riot God Quest)

Interesting developments with Hope. She is now a she rather than they, and she now has thoughts beyond hope. Not sure how that will affect the concept of hope, but I'm sure it's fine. Also, poor Hope getting an ouchie. But that's what happens when you mess with the eldritch equivalent of a Weapon.

When the Light shined, they were born.

They were shapeless. Formless. An answer with no question. A riddle with no answer. A being only knowable through the impression they left on the dust and gas they passed through.

They were nothing. Yet, in the mere reality of their existence, they were something. A concept given form. They were Not, Deity of Mystery, Purity, and Truth.

And so they spoke, unfinished words that echoed throughout the world, saying more than a finished voice ever could.

"I hope for..."

With that, Hope was born and Not watched them. They watched Hope live. They watched Hope grow. They watched Hope befriend Augustus. They watched Hope change. They watched Hope become impure.

And when hope was Cut, Not mourned and spoke once more.

"Is despair this..."

[X] Despair
In the absence of Hope, Despair is born. They're not a physical being, better thought of as a Lovecraft entity projecting into this reality, though they can be vaguely described as an inky black ocean by those that see it and don't go insane from despair. They're intelligent and sapient, but their manner of thinking is cosmic in scale, so lesser beings aren't likely to understand it. They're mostly a malevolent force, with their mere presence spreading despair and affecting the world in ways that inspire despair.

Ah

Well now I have a name for The First Guardian that fits with the general Light Motif.

Götterdämmerung

As for a place…I think I have an idea….

Oh yeah. No Moratorium. I put it originally so that people had a chance to communicate before they voted so that early voting doesn't cause available votes to run out.

But since there is unlimited supporting actions that is not an issue.

Though that does give the problem of too many high level actions passing. Honestly depending on how the votes turn out this turn I might increase the vote cost for high level acts. I honestly expected 15 people to join at most.

Thank you for answering questions

[X] That place where all roads meet
Within all celestial bodies of size enough to host life is Toraloduros which means 'That place where all roads meet' and 'If you should meet God upon the Road, Kill Him', that name which shall be known and understood by all to arrive there, a city made from the corpses of god-spires that never were, cut from primeval dawn by that Sword of Maybe, yet physically larger than the worlds it sits in. No mortal races yet know this place for it must first be learned, that to reach it they must cut a path beneath the ground to open a way and worlds with unopened gates may not be reached from it except through impermanent ways of magic or with a martial prowess beyond the grasp of this age, on some worlds it may be entirely impossible to cut a path, it may lie too deep or in places too hot, they may not have the tools necessary or seek to travel the stars instead.
The horizon of this circular road of a city of might be god-kings and fated banking guilds are masses of pavilions and pagodas, of domes and spires and temples of styles alien to many peoples.
Here creator gods and war gods and gods of law and rage may have their speaking houses and their temples, their manses and their cults, where lies at the centre of centres is that speaking hall ziggurat dojo adorned of swords of styles familiar and not and wheels with twelve spokes the latter which may be whole or split, this being that residing place of that god of Sword Law, entrance only requiring that you Cut the way forward with that Sword of Want.

just going to repost, with an X
[X] Create the land called Opalescence

The first goddess watches as the gods reveal themselves and act in accordance with their nature. She watches as the known universe is created and modified, and as the fabric of reality adjusts itself. And she decides to use all elements of her nature to create a place for herself - a place at the beginning of time. A realm where everything is white, yet refracts instances of color. Here, she resides when she wishes for peace, hope, and inspiration.

[ ] Shroud the planet of Gravity in a thick, diffracting atmosphere. Create a land, nay, a world as a whole of perpetual Twilight, where the Light cast and bent from the First Sun would hold little dominion, where Laws were more yielding and beings of Concept and Contradiction could bring themselves to Be.

Greater, in theme

Divine, not in theme

Also if you want like a temple or something in the currently unnamed city just go ahead and describe it, I think my description of the city is vague enough that we can just assume that any god that wanted one just put one down in their spare time and I think it's honestly pretty cool to just make something that everyone adds a little bit of something to.

my temple is one that doubles as a glassworks, as some soul are made greater by my deliberate hand, my priest replicate this by making idol hearts as well as stained glass and useful glass products, it is highly colourful.

Anyone willing to join the Transient in Perpetuity in being mildly petty? I haven't really decided on what to support yet, but I'm willing to trade so far.

Still keeping myself to a max of 6 supports though.

Aww I feel bad for hope so l will make something to hopefully make her feel better

Authored act:

[X] A healing flower field in the night

One of the gods upon seeing the suns protector striking hope would feel bad for the being who's only crime was being slightly annoying. Would set upon making something that helps not only hope but any others who end up in the Primeval Night. The god would gather the colors of plants, healing, and hope and compress them into a seed that would grow into a great flower field that heals those in it .The god would then grant the seed the ability to grow even in the Primeval Night, and send it off on is journey into the night to hopefully provide a place of healing and comfort to the denizens of the Primeval Night.

Elsa the White is a flowy, and not-completely defined white misty figure with a womanly face, that may occassionally show streaks of color

Hope isn't really harmed right now. Its just out of it because it has been hurt for the first time and it didn't even realize it could be hurt or could feel pain for that matter.

the Guardian starts out as an ever evolving living weapon that spends its time constantly training and pushing it. Due to its Cosmic nature it is constantly growing stronger.

Yeah, my only problem with it is that the vote is the entire description, it just makes things a lot more messy, sorry, that's my only issue with it.

It looks the same?

The temple of Not is an unfinished structure with walls of pitch black stone and vast, empty halls filled with faint, ever-changing impressions—half-formed symbols and patterns that fade as soon as they are noticed. It is a place where visitors hear whispers of unfinished words, resonating with the unspoken truths they carry within themselves. It's more a place of meditation than it is of worship. Though to Not, there is little difference.

Ah, that makes sense. I guess it would be a little shocking to an entity like Hope, to whom the concept of death normally wouldn't apply (seeing as they're a completely different concept and all).
