I could understand it needing a 3 or 5, but 11 for a sapient being just feels like overkillYeah, so we probably should create conditions for its existence, rather than just make it be. Perhaps, to prevent too many living things being made early on and bloat stuff out of control. It also makes sense. Intelligent life is really complicated after all - the human brain is the most complex system known to humanity in the whole universe in the present. 🤔
Although, I am also took a really big first bite. I need at least 11 votes (if I am not wrong) to enact my change. Well, it worth the shot!
A sapient being is complex yes, but I don't believe the complexity is greater then something that can effect an entire planetSapient being is super complicated thing to make. No matter the scale - the fact it is sapient makes it just so unique, like gods themselves. So I can understand reasoning behind it. Also, it is a bit of a change of pace from how things usually are. I am curious to see, how things would be with this rule. Maybe people would create non-sapient life first and then uplift them? Or create conditions for them to ascend to higher levels of intelligent?
Shelving a character temporarily is a thing, use some when they're currently relevant, maybe make a passing remark about what little business a character is doing in the background while big stuff is going downEdit: Because usually there are too many sapient and god-like beings early on, and its hard to give every one of them some relevance in the plot. They are characters after all - so they need to be mentioned almost each update. And with each new thinking creature of importance made, it could becomes more and more burdensome for author. Or something like th

Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy this kind of thing. I am usually thrilled when playing such games. (Especially god quests). 🤝(First time interacting with a Riot Quest, let's see how this goes.)
So what're we trying to ensoul here? The Sun? This feels like it might need something more solid as a base first.Original :
[X] the Formation of the Soul
Where thoughts, feelings and emotions exist, a soul will form, growing with each thoughts, feelings or emotions.
Good enough for me for now, let's see what happens.I think, it's about laws governing souls? Like, declaration that they exist, can appear in certain conditions and have rules to govern them. I think, for now it doesn't really affect anything (well, maybe except for gods), but can be really useful in the future. 🤔
Edit: After all, act can be named whatever, but in the description LotusPocus is telling about how and when souls appear.🤷♂️
@Andre Chaos has the gist of it. Generally, people and animals will have Souls, and whatever else fullfils the conditions. I will descibe a bit more what souls do.So what're we trying to ensoul here? The Sun? This feels like it might need something more solid as a base first.
Not meant to be rude, genuine curiousity.
I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.[X] Rule of One: There is only one physical instance of a kind of thing ever, as the Sun in the skies show. When a thing is akin to something, like a pebble to a boulder, there is instead only the greater thing, as there is only a sole Night.
I am also not sure... It can be literal, which would be kind of weird. But it also can a law of there being one thing as a ideal. Like, there is one ideal, conceptual rock and anything else is just instance/shadow of this one thing projected into the world. 🤔
I hate to count and to count is to not see the thing for what it is, so there's only ever one thing and that's about it.Would be pretty weird, but that's the only way it made sense to me too. Not sure about it.
