Honestly I'm kinda tempted to fake pursuing the inheritance, cause sure, Lock, Stock, and Barl is just a funny joke, but the whole situation smells incredibly scammy already, the Empire being 1000% full of fraudulent titles and Nigerian Prince schemes and such, and might very well be somehow linked to the major murder ring set up here in the road.

This is something that we should investigate, clearly someone is trying to eliminate the family. The duties of the witch hunter is to seek these dangers out but claiming the inheiritance is out of the question....

Too early and too fairly banal to have our guy who wants to kind of be a knight in shining armor do shady stuff, I think. The inheritance does seem suspicious, but there are other ways to investigate it, and the bizarre coincidence of our resemblance is likely going to come up with whoever is responsible too.
