Surely the Royal Irish Constabulary is motivated to avenge themselves after this; let's give them the means to do so.

    Money spent on war is money that could be spent on golden statues that rotate to face where the sun would be if it weren't so dang cloudy

    We have all future generations to think of, their eyes (and future roles in the tourism industry) are all pinned on our actions today
     
    It is truly a sad day, when we do not put our full force behind ensuring the poor Irish people are protected from these germanic terrorists :(

    We will need to put in twice the vigor against the perfidious turks to make up for this shame!

    Some form of home rule is necessary but so is the army. This should help with demobilization and indirectly the unemployment.

    The empire and its budget are overstretched but not so overstretch to not treat the isles as top priority.
