Correct me if I'm wrong, but with enough int stats, we could invent the phalanx formation.

During the Iliad, the warfare depicted is more heroic and individualistic, focusing on the deeds of individual warriors and their duels. Battles often involve chaotic melees, so if we developed a more disciplined and organized formation... then athena will hate because it wasn't her idea and ares wont like us because its less chaotic lmao idk

Would need some serious discipline for that though and the right terrain but then again if we gain a good reputation in Troy we could probably get enough pull to evolve the tactics used during the war

The greek phalanx was probably already and running.

It is either the macedonian phalanx, tetsudo, or Thebes phalanx that we can mimic.

Or failing that, pilums or crossbows, if only to penetrate the shields.

But if that is the case, introducing it is still gonna be hard. Not unless we climb to a high rank, combined with training and proving the concept in a short period, we would barely able to make it into the Trojan wars.

Then again, we can form our own little band and train it however we want. Should we achieve success, it will spread.

Let's just form a Grande Armee of the Hellenic Empire, with Hestia as our patron Goddess, in a conquista of the borders Alexander's Empire.

An empire that feels like a home, warmth of home..

However, the horses currently in use in Greece wouldn't be enough for Cataphracts for a while. Thus best way to use cavalry is through light/skirmishing operations.

Maybe add " train with everything" as an option but we need to start with the basics
