Who's the least popular god?
Probably the ones that everyone forgot
What is the current level of technology?
Bronze age with bits and pieces of higher levels of technology here and there, the Colonytes have crossbows
The Tyllasti have siege weapons
And the Horde actually know what germs are
What's stopping really good fortune tellers from just... stealing technology from the future to rapidly increase what is known?
Some have, they work for the kingdoms, which is how the crossbows, siege weapons, and knowledge of germs came about for them easily
They don't do it too much because some of the shit they see is very advanced and so its hard to replicate since the sooth sayers missed a couple steps in the process
The future is a nebulous suggestion and sometimes they see stuff that cannot ever be replicated and or studied in false potential timelines
Taking ideas from the future tends to cause what fortune tellers call Foresight Storms, where their future vision goes into overdrive calculating the consequences of that action, basically if you use too much future knowledge you'll have to wait awhile for the Foresight Storm to end if you want something else, and it's difficult to tell what too much is, so they use it sparingly for emergencies
Also some forms of fortune telling aren't exactly super detailed and or controllable, like certain styles of psychedelic fueled vision quest that show you metaphors of only what you need
For example Heretic Seers don't exactly see the future, they're limited to seeing tons of narrative signs that hint to certain events, if something is completely random and unwelcome in a proper myth they probably won't see it coming, and even if so, not clearly
Are there non-human sapient? Like elves and such?
There are, but they're in the same situation as like gods and spirits, born from belief, the only "Real" creatures are homo-sapiens, and all the plants and animals
By the way, the belief-made creatures hate Heretic Seers too since the H.S. say they're sorta not real
The Colonyte Imperium is one of the national juggernauts of Estokarei, with a bit of a warrior culture, they worship the mighty Sky Chiefs and paint their bodies with all sorts of colours from since they believe mankind were born from fallen pieces of the rainbow
Their armies are mainly armed with ranged weaponry, since their people have a personal code of honour that impersonal matters of duty and obligation are for ranged weaponry, the fun personal shit is for melee, it's why their champions wield blunt weapons, to make the fight last longer
They also hate bulls, their pantheon are based off the many leaders they had during their former Tribe stage, and their most beloved past leader was slain by stampeding bulls in the past, leather from cows and bulls is illegal in the Imperium
The Hughn-Nan Horde is one of the national juggernauts of Estokarei, they have a great understanding of carpentry and sea life, their cites may not be grand like those of the other Kingdoms, but they certainly know how to make sturdy towers and docks, alongside wearing warm furs and wide brimmed pointed straw hats
They mainly live in an area called the Quiet Reaches, vast expanses of flat grassland next to a very cloudy shoreline, in their past the Hughn-Nan sailed out and studied many of the sea life out in the ocean, theorizing that it may be the birthplace of life and sorta being horrified by the sheer amount of unknowns in the depths
They don't exactly worship their gods, more like avoid and placate, they believe the ocean is actually a giant tear drop from a grand entity by the name of Gho (Which is why tears have horrors crawl through them), filled with a fragment the being's immense power, thus spawning lesser but still very deadly entities, due to a incident in the past where a man by some fluke scared away some poisonous fish from their drowning friend as they swung around a stone on a string with a hole in it, they assumed the whistling calmed the beasts
Thus they can command and placate beasts with the various whistling stones their people make
Also the oversized smoking pipe thing is just to deal with existential dread, tobacco is a valuable commodity to them
The Tyllasti Dynasties are one of the national juggernauts of Estokarei, a mainly matriarchal society that lives by the desert river of Khunum, wearing circlets shaped like flames and having tattoos of the Ladies Of True Grace on parts of their body they wish to blesh, over their heart for courage, arms for strength, back for endurance, legs for strength, face for charm
They believe the material universe is a test to qualify one for a higher realm called Yit, where the Ladies Of True Grace preside, those who have managed to pass whatever the test is, and that life is the early easy mode of the test, and death shoves you into a personalized hell dimension for the remainder of the test
Some Tyllasts can use the connection with their personal hell to their advantage, calling upon aspects of it in the physical universe to aide in whatever areas the daemonic torture devices and creatures can aide with if you know how to improvise well
The titular dynasties are various bloodlines said to have descended from a Lady Of True Grace before they passed the test, and they rule various aspects of the kingdom together, with one main bloodline, the daughters of Motrax, ruling above them all
The Dynasties are currently doing some games of intrigue and hunts for glory to gain political power since the current Empress of the Motrax bloodline is 7 years old, traumatized by the death of all her older family members at the hands of assassins from a Tribe that the Dynasties thought they wiped out
How much knowledge remains of the fourth kingdom?
Not much, no one dares spread the stories and language of that kingdom out of fear of attracting the attention of its destroyer
Even the individuals who survived by not being in the kingdom at the time of attack are frightened to rebuild their culture or even show their own heritage
It has been predicted by most sooth sayers their culture will be entirely forgotten by the time the next generation grows old
