[X] River King's Envy

I am voting for this mostly because it solves the impurity problem in the Cathedral of Winds at least for the time being. According to Shu Yue it won't be a problem anybtime soon if nobody stirs up shit. Given that the war is coming and the Ith are impurity specialists it will be a real low hanging fruit to hurt the Cai. Not to mention Ling Qi has her own enemies who have a vested interest in seeing the fief project fail. People who may benefit from stirring up the impurities include the reactionary Meng (whatever remains of that group), the more conservative imperial types, the Ith (obviously), Cloud tribes (obviously), and the Sun (it is in their interests to weaken the ES). Not to mention that shitheel Yan Renshu who is petty enough to try something like this even if he may get killed doing it. So better safe than sorry.

Wasn't that Shu Yue's assessment on the labyrinth, not the cathedral?

Finally focusing down on more formation work is the sort of thing I feel like deserves more time than we have to dedicate to it. We have the wedding coming up, and then after that it's off to the front. While I'm sure it can find use there, I feel like we're better off dealing with a problem brewing in our back yard and then coming back to it after the war arc.

For me it has to be this one.
We have an open connection to the underworld worryingly close to the town worryingly close to a war with the underworld.

A connection from which we know a lethal high-realm mind parasite is leaking from and infecting the local spirit court.
That have to be dealt with before we leave for the wedding.

There are also several other reasons to go for it.

I have always been a great advocate of BKSD, which has always suffered from an overload of projects and a lack of combat situations to properly pair them with.
So I'm all for a project to improve how LQ learns it.

It's also a great opportunity to see Li Suyin again!
She was going to come with us and use her impurity detector to help us locate the underworld entrance.
Too bad Meizhen is no longer here. This was originally a LQ-Suyin-Meizhen adventure.
Maybe we can bring Xia Lin with us?

Finally, I want to meet and establish a good rapport with the crystal spirit presiding over the Cathedral.
It was described as pretty powerful, so I'm still hopeful that we can get a Wind-Music-Dream material from it.
Those are the alignments of the Cathedral and also the missing ones from our flute materials, so it would be a perfect fit.

Overall, a really complete adventure.

Kind of wish we had been able to do the geomancy while we were injured but the alternate choice was too good. Now we are prepping for being far away from our potential tutor. While boundaries could be useful for infiltration or pushing enemies I feel like BKSD is more our speed right now.

I miss fighting with summons. And our flute. And our domain weapon having any role at all. And Ling Qi playing music and talking to other music cultivators.
