Ling Qi is the Priestess. I feel like her (our) priority should be the spiritual side of things. Honestly, CRX can handle the economy even if the mini-game focuses on other stuff. I doubt Yrs will let the project absolutely fall apart. That would be a profoundly unsatisfying narrative.

But also. Woo! I've wanted 1KRF to come back forever. It's a Weilu Art, and it was the best link Qi had with Zhengui. Reforging it into an Art that replicates the way that evergreens survive the Winter fits perfectly. A lot better than the Bai art does. And it means there's one Art for each spirit-sib. Which I love.

I feel like the walls going up is the most important and consistent defense upgrade we can get, as even if we max the chance of cultivation man power roll there is still an 80% chance we don't get it while we just get a +50 with the opportunity to double it manned with Settlement Walls. So I'd go with Theater of Frost as winter is coming and it feels most thematic and Walls.

It's interesting that Hanyi and Zhengui have a relationship with eachother and with us, but six really only had/has one with us. I guess in my head Six was always the confidente/partner rather than the sibling- too much of the drama was over them leaving for it to have the 'family is always there' vibe that turtle and ice princess do. Plus both of them are building courts, and six is sort of not? Idk what six is actually doing right now.

It feels like that period after a breakup where you go no contact for like six months so you can still be friends again after.

We do want walls, but they're something that works well offscreen. Do them month 1 next year while we're in Xiangmen.
Then we roll d100 and flip a coin. If everyone goes to the Wedding total DEF is fifty. The new wall puts us at 100 whether we get CMP or not.

If we don't want to find out what's on the Bad Event Table we need to stay at 100 DEF minimum.

Hmm...Tough choices here....Im of course voting for the Frost Foundations because were going into winter and thematically it makes sense. For a second option, it is much tougher for me....

Wanna do Jadehelm Scrimshaw Carver since its cheap, unlocks some nice benefits, and doesn't need manpower. Though its probably not a good project for this month...

Field projects can probably be flat out ignored this time of year.
Chillgrasp Clay collection has similar benefits to the scrimshaw carver, but likewise isn't ideal for this time of year.

Hamlet Forestry and Cliff Roads are tempting because id LOVE to get those hunter shrines and cathedral of winds...That said, that only unlocks them and no way of knowing if either would even be one month projects. Good odds their not sadly.
Likewise, Boiling Deep Shrine is just to time consuming despite the hefty benefits we would get for it.

Settlement Walls....When going into the war that will be 100% needed for sure. Admittedly ive waffled on this one a fair bit but in the end I figure that if turtle son is staying behind while we attend the wedding, we don't need to worry about the fief while were away.

Hamlet Granary is tempting for multiple reasons....Boosts administration, unlocks projects for food storage and preservation, increases manpower...We definitely want to unlock that and expanded hamlet administration before the Ith war so that the Fief can manage itself while were away and the CRX administration buff is cancelled.
That said, the main thematic point for working on it right now would be for its 'reduce the effects of famine events' ability. Which while a BIG deal at this moment....Might not be necessary since the Theater of Frosts 'reduce negative affects of winter' trait might render it a little redundant for the foreseeable few months.

So....Im going to go double shrine and make my second choice Snowblossom Shrine. Helps boosts our odds of getting a cultivator to move in which we really need. Upgrades which benefit our fishing which we are currently making use of. And it also makes a thematic sense to continue the work we already put in after that whole event.

Im pretty sure that the defensive wall isn't stacking defenses. So the new walls +50 wont raise us to 100, it would take the simple palisides +25 and raise it to +50, giving us 75 DEF not counting Zhengui. Not unless we luck out and get that cultivator manpower for doubling the defense.

75 DEF, if that is accurate, is still a lot better than 50. Zhengui does not add a substantial amount to the overall number at this time.

If there is another wall project on the other side of this one and the number is 75, I believe in doing that as well. We picked high danger high resources for our area, and we are one of the closest points to the southern conflict. We are moving mortals and our mother and sister here.

I understand the desire to vote for narratively cool stuff, but we need to at least evaluate these risks seriously. A Vengeance For Family is a tone shift and also would preoccupy a lot of our time.

TLDR: walls are boring, until we wish we had more.

I'm in favor of walls next turn, but we want the Granary ASAP because that likely gates getting another action, which we desperately need now.

Practically speaking though, Walls don't really pop off until we have a cultpop to put in them.

Plan voting is usual in this quest.
You want to vote for the plan games now, bread later, since it is the plan with the two shrines you want.

Will the meeting with grumpy fire turtle gonna be a long way off? like need to do a huge favor to the sect and cash it in?

... I kinda do want to know what's on there, though? It'd be pretty lame if we got to determine when all the threats to our little town happened and nothing surprised us. A surprise defense against migrating beasts or blizzard spirit trying to eat the warmth of the whole town would be interesting and really drive home the fact that we're in a dangerous place, out past the edge of civilization.

There are the looming dangers of the things sealed in the beaver's glacier, The moose, and the dragon horses but those are either far off or too far beyond our power level for it to make narrative sense for them to show up now. I want a good level appropriate threat that takes us by surprise.

This is entirely an out of character desire, based in looking at this story as a narrative more than a game to be won.

If the numbers were this low when Ling Qi is home I get it. But the Bad Events would not happen unless a substantial amount of Lady Cai's retainers were deployed on business. I like the idea of fighting the moose or the thing in glacier.

I do not like the idea of the people we migrated out of a safe zone, including relatives, suffering while we are at a party.

If the Bad Event table could happen to Ling Qi, I would vote the other way. But the table would activate offscreen, and then we would have to pick up the pieces.

Me again.

The correct format is like this:
Plan name without a "-" before "[]" than sub points with a "-" before "[]".
Or you can just vote for the plan name: [] plan name.

So either:
[]plan games now, bread later
-[] Theater of Frost Foundations
-[] Snowblossom Shrine

Or:
[]plan games now, bread later

This is important since the tallying is done by a program, not manually, and in case of false formatting your vote won't be counted.
