As far as I know, Emanators can be planet killers - Shuhu was definitely a threat. So, who knows.

But honestly given what we saw With Archeon there's quite a good probablity of us being able to take a more humanoid form.
It'll work like Herrschers do in HI3: Emanators with control of their powers can turn it on and off at will.

Evolved versions of [Spirit Change] for Emanators of Harmony and Abundance.

[Spirit Sync]
A Devil's Blessing, enhanced tenfold by your status as an Emanator of Harmony. Manifests as pink strings of Harmony, always wrapped around your pinkie. Allows you to connect with others on the deepest level possible.
[If Social check is successful or the affected person asks for it, allows you to manifest one Spirit String. While someone else is affected by this, your emotions and maybe your memories are connected. You'll be able to change their emotions or share your own.]

[Spirit Soothe]

A Devil's Blessing, enhanced tenfold by your status as an Emanator of Abundance. Manifests as golden-green strings of Abundance, which have plants and sunflowers hanging off them. Allows you to heal anything that can be healed by kindness and care.
[If Social check is successful, it allows you to manifest one Spirit String. While someone else is affected by this, you'll be able to see the hurt in their hearts, whether that is mental or physical. If it isn't at too high an intensity, you'll be able to temporarily dull or heal that pain.]

Gonna tilt at another windmill, but did some more reading on the Paths and also what Elysia actually was, and well

I honestly think Hunt is actually legitimately really good for a "Hero Unit" type, which is why I'll continue to vote

[X] Plan: Shattering A Glassy Sky
Since being able to punch up and do great duels against someone beyond you is a pretty key vibe, but I was reading up on the Flame Chasers, and the Flame Chasers were great. They were the last of an era, an era of heroes that had saved the best for last. A band of heroes that lived together, fought together, died together, lost together, and ultimately won together.

And well -- Abundance and Harmony do fit to a degree. Her powers apparently encompassed more pink crystal stuff and protective powers, but while that does work with Preservation, a big emphasis is her self-sacrifice and trying to bind together the Flame Chasers -- despite her kind of coming off really suspiciously flirty and so on, but it makes sense for an Elysia to follow a path that's caring, kind, and helpful, or encouraging and friendly. Pink Jesus Elf and all that.

But that's not all of what Elysia is, IMO. The Flamechasers were great together, but chiefly they were all isolated in one way or another, and I think having a path that boosts social skills or kind of facilitates interacting with others -- because of course you know, working with the healer is common sense no matter how weird you think they are. I get why they were heavily recommended by the QM for Elysia's narrative role, but I think overcoming those obstacles with just sheer force of personality and friendship feels that much more powerful.

And so it comes to Destruction -- the Path of the Antimatter Legion, lead by an Aeon that seeks to destroy all life and civilization within the universe. It's not quite paralleling what it means to be a Herrscher, but well -- Herrschers were more like natural calamities, godlike creatures that had not a semblance of reason or rationality until along came Elysia, and I think that legitimately kind of fucks for who Elysia is. Someone who loves all and hates none, being a hero wielding the power of the villains.

Because chiefly speaking -- even Destruction can save. Someone needs to take down the villain, destroy their attacks, crush their defenses, so on and so forth. Being an Emanator means that they can have near-unsurpassed power, but IMO with Revelation ought to continue onwards into near-unsurpassed skill and control. Even if by all rights being granted the power of an Emanator of the Aeon of Destruction ought to have caused someone to be a great villain, an "Elysia" would channel that into being a force for good. Because someone following on the path of Destruction won't be able to just dish out damage but be able to take it for their friends too, an all-around paragon on the field of battle. A wildfire is scary, but the ash it leaves behind promotes new growth, which is why I feel it fits for a theme. Even if things end, something must come after.

It's also kind of why I chose unarmed for the "weapons" -- mastery of body and self-reliance promotes self control. No fear of powers going out of control or whatnot -- they use Destruction for their own ends, but Destruction won't use them.

Destruction in a certain lens IMO can also fit what an "Elysia" is -- audacious, unexpected, and in some ways, destructive too. Being an Emanator is supposed to fuck you up in some way or another, anyways, and someone who's an Emanator of the Path of Destruction yet turns away or rejects the Antimatter Legion just feels pretty cool, and opens up imo a lot of neat story options. How'd that work out? How's she still an Emanator if she opposes Nanook (or if they perceive each other as opposing each other.) How'd she become an Emanator in the first place. How's that going to ripple out into the story?

Being audacious! Be unexpected! Be brave -- break down those barriers between you and others. Take the universe on, because even if it's going to rock you across the face, you can take it -- and give it a nice little cross counter. I hear protagonists with the powers perceived to be evil are pretty popularr in shojo / otome-esque settings these days!

As a side note -- Asphodel just feels appropriate enough. Could shorten it to "Ash" as a nickname too, I suppose. And I'll toss some approval votes towards the person who originally steered the clown car into Elysia-ville

[X] Plan: Big Sister
[X] Plan: The Ideal Moderator

[X] Harmony.
[Harmony is the Path that encompasses helpful, encouraging, and friendly actions. Allows you to make yourself and your allies stronger, gaining advantage on otherwise impossible rolls. Out of combat, you have better social skills, and people tend to like you. If you take this as your Path, you will meet Xipe, a three faced (literally) Aeon who connects the world together with magical songs.]
[X] Songs
[X] Red hair, with a nice jacket.
[X] Imaginary

[X] Hate
You've never been able to truly loathe anyone. When you joined the Devil Hunters, it wasn't out of selfish reasons like money or fame. It was responsibility.
You'll be at ends with the rest of the galaxy sometimes, their selfishness alien to you, your kindness alien to them.
But you're too kind to tell them to shut up, aren't you?

[Your Relationship track with anyone will be hard pressed to go below 0, unless they already hate you on business or loyalty terms. It will be hard for you to muster up righteous anger, vengeance for the fallen, or anything in that ballpark. However, making friends is a lot easier.]

[X] Plan A Girl Beautiful Like a Flower, Abundance

Because I want to make it a running joke where Bailu keeps getting the urge to ram a Starskifft into us (and Blade starts freaking out everytime we get near the tiny healer) for some reason*

*past life/reincarnation reasons

(Fighting Shuhu the Emanator of Abundance)
Like an out-of-body experience, like a dream within a dream, he returned to the moment before his sense of self disappeared. With a cold and emotionless mind, he observed himself turning into a dragon, entangled and fighting claw-and-fangs against that bulb of shapeshifting shadow of flesh and blood. In an illusion seen on the verge of death, the Emissary of the God showed him an unsettling, beautiful scene — the stars pulsated and sang hymns like red blood cells, and the universe descended into an abyss of flesh and desires
The dragon heart beat to its limit, raising its fangs, breath, and fury — however, no matter how mighty it was, a "lifeform" cannot defy the true body of God of Life's Envoy.

...Until a starskiff ran everything through like an arrow shaft
.
He saw that girl crawling out of the ruins with great difficulty, lifting a "sun" of absolute darkness in her hand. In that fleeting eternity, he saw her hand disappear, saw her face disappear, and saw HER disappear — That item had ground everything around it into the finest dust and dragged them into a vortex of raw power, including that girl.

A tuft of hair and a few drops of blood fell to the floor as evidence of her existence. Those were the only traces she left.

I honestly hope this quest does live up for a while. I think there are no HSR quests save this one. Hell, I believe Genshin Impact only has one, and that one is either on hiatus or has been abandoned.

I'll make it to Xianzhou, minimum. You have my word.
Also, in an unrelated note, two more hours left of voting.

We've barely learned anything about what's really going on in Penacony so I don't get the appeal of "derailing it" by playing a Harmony Emanator.

Meanwhile, a friendly Abundance Emanator has lots of potentially fun interactions with the Luofu folks (like Bailu and Dan Shu among others) especially if we can develop healing and fleshcrafting/biology-changing powers that might be able to deal with Dan Shu's blindness or people infected with Mara (like that poor girl that got tricked by that asshole in Bailu's companion quest).

Also, we might be able to help Bailu grow taller with our powers too.

Doubt it, but it is safe to dream. To be fair, that part of the Abundace is pretty messed up.

It's looking stupidly tied up-ignore any posts about ending the vote early, which will be deleted. It looks like day 2 of voting will happen.

Savage Devil, Flower (Harmony), and Abundance Gang; feel free to put in well thought out arguments for your plans. I've already seen some just above me. Otherwise, no one's getting a lead.

Basic attack is likley just a single note from the trumpet hitting them with consusive force, skill is likley a buffing effect of some kind and ultimate it likley us launching into playing an actual song to bolster our allies.
