Article: NOTICE OF NUISANCE – Residents should not be alarmed by odd or unusual noises emitted from sewers this week during annual maintenance of waste systems. For your own safety, DO NOT enter the sewer system regardless of any abnormalities…
Think this means the princeps is moving against the mutants down there, especially with the "waste systems maintenance," whoever it was that explained it at the League meeting described it as the "magical" waste of Ghur ending up in the same place as the literal waste.

Another thing probably done sooner rather than later would be investigating lady tophania. Basically all of us are pretty sure she's in the vision, the only question is which side. If she marches against the tower that's good to know, and if she marches WITH it, she seems like a better candidate than most for...

Well...

[-] Hire an assassin. (Write-in: target)

Morr has a brother.

lol, lmao even. What the hell is happening? Is there already proto-skavens in the sewers?

Almost surely there are.

WOE! – Death comes yes-yes to surface folk. Ready-prepare for doom-ruin. A thousand beat-strikes on the small-weak will be repaid a millionfold. What comes to the rats will come to you all. REPENT!

Such speech (two words meaning roughly the same separated with a hyphen) is pretty much their trademark.

I would argue for either researching the sword or doing a pray action. A lot of our most useful information has come from the prophetic dreams and there have been quite a few hints that the sword is negatively influencing us against Morr.

Also, once again petitioning for an action on investigating the Tower if only to understand the mechanics of the ritual and to maybe get a clue on what the wind of shadows is doing.

EDIT: Also it seems 100% worth to send Rosamunde to Summerland and also have her try and nab something from the brotherhood of Moulder. Without even investigating a single one or going to Summerland it's completely clear that they're one of the root causes of things going bad.

Apologies in advance for the double post.

[] Plan: Completing the Puzzle
-[] Write to Arkhan.
-[] Pray.
-[] Investigate the Tower.
-[] Explore a district: Summerland [R]
-[] Explore the undercity. [P]
-[] Investigate somebody: Lady Tophania. [A] [M]
-[] Steal Warpstone. (S)
-[] Meet with Prince Stonehammer. (S)

This is my generalized plan for what I'd want to see next turn. Although I'm definitely open to changing many of the actions around as there's a lot of attractive options this turn.

Writing to Arkhan is a gambit to try and understand the last parts of the Princeps plan.

Praying is to try and handle the Sword fucking around and hopefully re-establishing a connection to Morr (although it will certainly come with losing access to the Sword).

Investigate the Tower to polish off the edges for what the mechanics of the Princeps ritual is (mostly what is all of the Ulgu in the city being used for?).

Investigating Summerland because it's about time to bite the narrative hooks about the Brotherhood of Moulder, from the soul potions, grain prices increasing, fungal minotaur steaks, caches of warpstone they're hiding, and the fact that many of their Elder Brothers seem to be doing sus stuff (steaks, warpstone, ratcatching). Would definitely be down to have Rosamunde also try to steal something from Summerland but so far I don't believe any important artifact to the Brotherhood of Moulder has been mentioned.

Explore the undercity because it'll get us more info on proto-skaven, Ahalt flower-man, and potentially let us investigate the mutant village.

Using Ambrose and Mervin mostly because I think it'd be useful to properly investigate Tophania, I don't trust Ambrose, and getting a guaranteed success is pretty nice. Would not be opposed to investigating someone else because I don't believe a convincing narrative to give the Princeps has been created other than just spilling the beans about the League. We're for sure gonna be asked to give a story to the Princeps but I'm not sure who else would be a good candidate to investigate (KEEP IN MIND HE HAS A RING THAT MAKES US TELL THE TRUTH).

Stealing Warpstone because I want to start taking direct action against the Princeps. I'm not the happiest about this action and was indecisive about this and Harbouring Fugitives action but it would be useful to implicate the Brotherhood of Moulder to the Princeps if we want to blame them.

I'm basically convinced that every faction in the city has their own corrupt stuff going on EXCEPT the Karaz Ankor. It would make no sense for them to be in on the plot and they would be utterly invested in protecting the Glittering Realm from the Sons of Skavor (also why is there an entrance over Tylos? Is this unique or something that can be found in other places around the world).

Other actions I wouldn't be opposed to: seeing parents, harbour fugitives, tour prison of mirrors (mystery box I can't resist), visit sanguine, set up a ratline, and getting supplies. I'm very tempted to put getting supplies in the main plan mostly because every turn we see news about the price of food going up and I'm positive that at a certain point famine is going to start.

[-] Give a speech to the Senate (Lay out clearly what the Princeps is doing and let the dice roll where they may)

Okay, yeah, that would surely be a quick and final end to the quest, but damn would it be hilarious.

EDIT: In seriousness though, I feel like it's one possible end game we could be working towards, once other things are in place with more evidence and someone prepared to act. Of course it could not avert the apcocalypse. Nothing can. But it could certainly, ah, put the cat among the rats.

I want to go to the temple of Ahalt to see how it's being shut down, and explore the undercity. Moreover, I want to set up the Roost so we don't get ambushed by famine soon. Even in the worst case, Ambrose cannot sabotage supplies without blowing his cover.

This is something that would work but only by participating in politics. If we leverage the league and help them put their people in place in the government announcing the Princeps plan would go significantly better. Also having some hard proof of it would be helpful but I'm not sure what you could even bring up as physical evidence.

@Graf Tzarogy can this be a "Write-in"

[-] Things are getting stranger day by day and you feel something manipulating your mind and soul. Examine your feelings regarding your allies, particularly Ambrose, why did you instantly fancy him after he brought you the sword but not before that, what changed? Investigate this.

Personally I am tempted to look into the Sword. If we are going to cut ourselves off from the Morr it should be through our own educated decision.

In a similar fashion we should look into Ambrose at some point as we need to know if we can trust him, though I am fine doing it next turn.

Plan The Prince and the Sword
-[ ] Explore a district: Summerland [R]. (because we got Rosamunde for a reason and Moulder is Suss)
-[ ] Meet with Prince Stonehammer. (S) (Because Political power)
-[ ] Visit another temple: Ahalt. (Because it is
-[ ]Harbour fugitives. (S) (Because League BOGO and it's a good thing to do)
-[ ] Set up a ratline.
-[ ] Explore the undercity. [P]
-[ ] Study your sword.
-[] Investigate somebody: Lady Tophania. [A] [M]

A fusion of the other plans with studying the sword though I might change somethings
@Graf Tzarogy can we take multiple investigation actions in order investigate multiple people?

Why do you have two people on Lady Tophania? Our beekeeper autosucceeds on investigating Ladies, Ambrose is unneeded for it.

You want to know – have spend these last weeks in a panic, trying to get some measure of your nightmare and you will know – no more faith, but your effort – man's effort – alone.

Its like the third or fourth time were Xenophon said something like this, kinda prove of the efect the sword have over him.

Ugh, that winning vote. So much heresy.

"All I wanted, was the true" the epistole of Lorgar Xenophon

If the underworlds are under threat, it makes sense for He Who Waits to act – yet. There's an uncertainty that won't leave your gut, and an odd glare off your blade.

It is intersting, we see elder gods acting, both Morr and Verena and yet barely anything of the chaos gods who can sense a rival spawning all the sudden....except for this minor chaos gods infiltring the empire all the sudden.

I keep thinking tophania is a dark elves of some regard and she is using khaine assasins to get rid of people.

Also, when we will see little Khemiri, is clearly one of them is a heretic and is helping the prince

I also like writing to Arkhan in "Completing the puzzle", I might go for it depending on how things shape up.
But for now, I support being Commander Shepard and making the Roost my favorite place in the Twin Cities, a base for us and a refuge for minions allies.
