How do you vocalize the =D that's terrifying.
I like to imagine they just said 'smiley face' out loud.
For this week Adv. Battle, Trainer Battle and Roland's bond are locked in for me. Remember, we want to be bond 3 or 4 before he evolves to Drakloak so we can convince him to not kill Espurr. Torn between Nemona and Manuel for the second; her bond 2 bonus looks good, but we should really aim for at least Bond 1 for all of Class VII if we're Class Prez.
I actually don't think Roland bond points are a priority, just because I don't think those alone will be enough to chill him out before the evolution. I think the most important thing will be time, which is why we should try and ensure he doesn't evolve before the end of the third or fourth month at the earliest. It gives him more time to deal with these issues, particularly just giving him more time to work with Renne themselves. Hell, if we can can Renne to Bond 3 and get them fighting in a double battle, or get to a point where he sees that Renne is invested in the team/in Mariana's safety that should also help, but that's going to be a long term thing than just grinding out his numbers. Plus it means we'll have more timefor our hypothetical third teammate.

So essentially I'm on board to do Advanced Battle and Shopping, and then relying on training during the FE to get that last Move point for the relevant Moves like Crunch or Fake-Out, and I'm happy to have our Bond ups this week both going to humans.

While I don't disagree at higher bond levels with Roland being important when he evolves, remember he is not evolving until at least December simply because of the amount of MXP required to Master Extremespeed. It's not a urgent priority, bond levels will come quicker than MXP.
Wonder how true that is...
We gain, on average +1 MXP per turn, and various MXP on round robin depending on what we use, but +1 to everything at a minimum.

So if we assume +1 a week, and +1 a month then yeah, Week 1 December, Roland will evolve.

But that's kinda assuming absolutely minimum. No "To Train Them" actions which give 2-3, none of the better Round Robin MXP which is also 3. Assuming we don't get any MXP on the FEs. Most plans proposed for this week already have us gaining +2 MXP from doubling up on Trainer Battle and Advanced Battle.

Point is, it could take until December, but with how fast people want to catch up to Nemona you should expect it to be at least a bit faster then that. Do not be shocked if we managed it by October.

(After all, it's when he learns Extreme Speed, not Masters it)

Elise and You Can't Run From A Battle Between Trainers sure do look tempting to me and my Dame Mariana dreams. But alas, this is not the week to start walking the path of knighthood.

"I'd have been fine, y'know. Why'd you throw yourself in front of me?" Elise gives a small shrug at your question.
There's that concerning lack of concern to her own wellbeing in comparison to others. As if Rean could possibly lose it in the combination.

Although the Zoroark this chapter was clearly not a Hisiuan
When it comes to Zoroark, that doesn't really mean all that much.

Assuming a Sharon-like backstory, but for a Pokémon, a hidden pack of nigh-extinct Zoroark that murder people is a fairly decent fit.

I like to imagine they just said 'smiley face' out loud.
Nah. "Equals dee".

They don't really get emoticons, but they sure do like 'em.

So, Eight Leaves One Blade is in this setting. Makes me wonder what the context is behind this, such as how it's founded, who the divine blades are, etc.
Well if we hear about Leaf striking out in Ryme City, we'll know one of them.

And we can't forget the guy dressed as a Samurai from the fourth episode of the Pokémon anime. It's been over a decade since Gen 1 started in-universe, he's definitely a Divine Blade by now. Trust me. Practically canon already.

That assumes the rate of training remains the same no matter how many Pokémon we have, which feels unlikely.

Fair point, but for the record I'm basing it off the fact that currently the actions say "All Pokemon gain X MXP" which means that Renne, despite not being in a great place, is benefitting from the training actions.

So it could be hit/miss in regards to if it changes or not.

I dunno, especially for the battling actions you can't exactly battle with more than two at a time, and that's assuming you can find double battles all the time. Battling actions I think we're gonna have to pick a pokemon to focus on or accept broader but lower gains as we fight challengers of different badges.

You Can't Run from a Trainer Battle: The battling Arenas at Rodrigo Hall are both numerous and massive. Since it's still early in the school year, the gap between the various students in the same year isn't quite big yet. You are, somehow, on the higher end of your school batch strength-wise. Sooner or later, you'll have to find greater challenges if your pace keeps up. -1 AP
  • Potential Social Encounters: Nemona, Astrid, Manuel

Advanced BATTLE: A Pokemon Journey is a multi-year long process. Most Trainers get one badge and then struggle for years getting a second. Half of all Paldean Trainers quit around the third Gym. Only a tenth make it to the seventh. There are no shortages of Trainers with only one or two Badges hanging around in Mesagoza. Many of them go to Battle Arenas in Mesagoza proper to prepare themselves for the League Circuit opening up in August. You can challenge them, and you're absolutely going to lose, but there's no better way to reveal your weaknesses than having them ruthlessly exploited. -1 AP
  • Potential Social Encounters: Nemona, Eri, Atticus
Oh thats cool! both Astrid(Hyperactive noble girl from the intro) and Eri(the other Andosin) will be social encounters if we choose he's, assumedly. idk how it'll interact with the FE but potentially kind of but not really new faces!

Anyway for plan cause Im selfish, gonna blatantly steal Nerdorama's plan but with Nemona added, I just like the events themselves and I think getting bond level 2 with Nemona early will just be extremely helpful(this also helps equalize the Yuri battleground which i think is important, Someones gotta shipbait Mary with all of her friends and who if not us?) Tho when vote goes up i'll probably vote both cause I like both of em

Depends on what battling action IMO.
Trainer Battle, sure might not get the whole team.
ADV. Battle, we will always lose which means we'd at least get the whole team out right?

Did too well Roland swept cause hes built different. no EXP for anyone else(EXP share was off)

Thats why I said up to 3 pokemon. Unless you're bullying trainers who can't challenge you at all, it shouldn't be hard to keep an even rotation.

Nah, we're poor and from the highlands, I bet we inherited Jenkins' classic Kantonian XP Share, hunk of junk can only link two pokemon at a time sadly.
I guess the implication is that Juliana's family brought their fancy Macro Cosmos XP Share when they moved from Galar?

"Oi mum how'd I turn the fookin' XP share off?"

"I don't know dear, your father set it up."

Looks like the 12 hours moratorium is over. First plan I've submitted to this interesting quest, probably won't win given the current thread has other priorities, but might as well post it, a plan to maximize the last week of our Fundamental Final buff with Library and Research work to our KNOW stat.

Picking another library action before FE1 is a mistake because even though we'll get the 10% extra on it we'll also lose out on 1 week of passive KNOW gain (300 - 80 = 220 XP lost). We'll also miss the chance to get 2x XP on a KNOW ranger action.
Doing to train them is your cause (in Roland gets Buff) also isn't great because it gives us no chance to get him to badge-level 2, and further reduces our slack on raising his Bond level before he evolves.

Edit: It looks like Roland gets buff now has the same actions as montage, just with Manuel swapped for Nemona. I'll stick with Montage for now, I want Bond 1 with all of class VII.
