Yes, very unclear what I could be talking about.

I don't appreciate your tone here. Me stereotyping a Warhammer dwarf is hardly what I'd call "Toxic Masculinity". I was just having a bit of fun, but if you want to misconstrue that as something more, be my guest. I'm not in charge of your own biases and opinions after all.

Even setting aside that you didn't address the fantasy racism part, the stereotype of the Warhammer dwarf is Toxic Masculinity: Nerd Edition.

I promise not to offer votes or character pieces that focus around weird racism or toxic masculinity. The Dwarf experience in Talingarde is, broadly speaking, more along the lines of the "model minority" experience, where they're respected and admired so long as they stay very carefully in their lane/ethnic neighbourhood.

[X] An Orc
[X] An Elf

Orcs because unconquered tribes sound really fun, and Elf because I am weak against villainess stories.

Fantasy racism is hardly a taboo trope in fantasy settings, to be blunt, and I don't feel uncomfortable about it because it's a story. It's simply an element that people can use to create a setting, and that's all there is to it. As for toxic masculinity… how? As far as I can recall, warhammer dwarves don't encourage wholesale violence against women. My own preferences for our main character in this story will be decided depending on how the setting is portrayed by Maugan, and what level of fantasy or realism is expected. I think I will be putting a pin in this conversation on my end because quite frankly discussing warhammer dwarves and their toxicity is fairly off-topic.

Honestly a lot of the changes I'm making are going to be informed by my attempts to reconcile some pretty hilarious contradictions in the lore as presented across the AP.
It'll be interesting to see where you go with this, I distinctly remember the first two-ish books being pretty entertaining before the pace got a bit weird. That was 7+ years ago though so I can't remember if the fault was in the plot or in the mechanics.

[X] A Dwarf

[X] A Dwarf

If we're going the Supervillain route, this or Elf seems the most appropriate. And I'll always choose Dwarf.
