As you continue to ascend into a cooler, higher orbit, you find yourself entering a rather empty region with little in the way of usable material, whether rocky dust, icy dust, or gas. You get to work attempting to absorb what ice does exist in your vicinity in this density minimum where ice seldom lasts long, but being roughly halfway between noticeably dense belts, your efforts might be more efficiently directed at migration than absorption. On the bright side, this does give those aiming to internalize all your disk material a chance to catch up, and the mass of your disk now accounts for only about a quarter of the total mass of your system. Were your surface to cool down to the temperature of the nebula around you, you could probably keep the helium you do have almost indefinitely: a milestone to be sure! For now, the lightest bulk gas it can retain is probably nitrogen or carbon monoxide.

With the benefit of proximity, you can more easily review the belt above you and find that its material is fairly evenly distributed, and it doesn't appear to have planetesimals of significance.

You continue moving to a higher orbit and finally enter the next band. Whether a delightful dessert or an appetizer for further treats, countless sweet, appetizing grains of water ice float about here where the immature star's rays are weaker. This belt will make a fine banquet with the following recommendations based on your eating habits:
  • [ ] Jovial Gelato: A delectable blend of creamy snow ice with traces of salt served under hydrogen
  • [ ] CH4colatey Clathrates (house special!): Tasty shaved ice impregnated with various yummy gases that don't look like they should be able to form clathrates at available temperatures/pressures
  • [ ] Escargot au Kairei: A hearty meal of M-type asteroids seasoned with a secret siderophilic sauce and served under nebula gas
  • [ ] Sour Sorbet: A delightfully tart treat of hydrogen sulfide and water ice imported from the cooler reaches of the system
  • [ ] Granita al Caffè: For the busy protoplanet on the go, this energizing blend of volatile ices will serve as excellent reaction mass for getting more done
  • [ ] Frozen Margarita on the Rocks: An organic-rich cocktail of ice and hydrocarbons served with cool, locally sourced rock

If this selection isn't quite to your liking, you do still have the option of absconding to another establishment or giving yourself more time to digest (although at this point, only about 1/6 of your mass remains unincorporated), but the full detailed selection at this place will only be available for another two turns.
