Azeroth in Chaos (Warcraft/Warhammer CK2)

Got it.

I'm not up to making a plan right now, but I lean towards a Personal Attention on Raiding, for a 97% chance of success, or getting to know our Spymaster for our Personal action. Get more money early on to fuel the rest of the prep, or know who we have shoring up our weakest stat.

On diplo, I think Queens (advisor recommends it), Viziers (called out as causing problems in the past), or Warriors (we're a military guy, we care about our soldiers maybe) are the ones I'd pick between.

Not sure the resource values need to be that high. Like is there really a difference between making 10,000 gold into just 1 Gold? Just feels like having million of gold when 1,000 would easily do just makes it more annoying to do math off the top of the head.

Alright here goes:

- Military does Outposts, Military Infrastructure and Secondary Defenses to get our Siege Defense Infrastructure up as soon as possible.

- Diplomacy is Talking with the Queens and Seers. The former because it synergizes with the spousal choices action we need done this turn and the latter because we are dealing with Chaos corruption and the Seers are on the front line of that threat.

- Stewardship does Mine Expansion and Large Insect Farms because those are both low hanging fruit for hardening our kingdom against the incoming threats.

- Learning does Metalurgy Improvements because it synergizes with the Mine Expansion and Expanding the Magic Colleges because that action gives us more mages/Viziers properly trained which we will need to defend against the incoming attacks.

- Intrigue does Forming an Intelligence Apparatus because the action description literally tells us that this is our equivalent to the Inquisition. So that First.

- Personal is doing Of Consorts and Queens because this is a CK2 quest as far as I understand it and having actual prepared heirs is a must for those.

I'll likely play with the costs some. I've been basing the economy off of the previous nerubian quest.

The year is 597 in the King's Calendar, which is 5 years after the Dark Portal opened, Which is around the time the second war began. That means we have 5 years before the War of The Spider canonically began.

I have a few questions.

1. How long are the turns?

2. How does the army bonus work? Is it temporary or permanent? Or is it like Embers where a crit is permanent but anything else is temporary?

3. Do we get the learning bonus for cataloguing the archives when we finish part 1, or do we need to finish the other parts too?

4. For the warbeast action, can we request a specific breed? Say, something to burn the dead?

5. Can we propose specific projects? Something like the feasibilities in Planetary Governor quest.

1. 1 year turns
2. It depends. Better inferstructure, defenses, and gear would be permanent bonuses. Where as something like war games start out permanent and have diminishing success rates.
3. Part 1 will give a small general bonus, auccessive parts will focus on more specific parts of the archives and apply the bonus to a single area.
4. Yes, that is what the action does.
5. Sure, I'll add something like Embers' feasibilities.

Sorry for the late reply all. I have added feasibilities to the turn. Got nothing done earlier as I was dead tired. I'll add a list of current bonuses for the different types of troops soon when I can.

In the end, the Metallurgy improvements seems more likely to benefit us than anything in the archives, but a training ground big enough for everyone feels usefull. So I'm making a compromise plan.

Also will the Imperium be getting involved. Because I would find it funny having the sisters of battle meet the church of light.

Also this is based on Embers in the Dusk to some extent. So the Imperium splintered and the Sistters of Battle fell to Tjapa.

Eh I've already admitted I'm using Tjapa as a 5th Chaos God. There's no real surprise to be had here unless they don't read your quest.

I don't read @Durin's quest. So I did not in fact know that the name of the 5th Chaos God that was created from the Emperor dying over there was Tjapa and that you were using 5 Chaos Gods when I first joined this thread.

I really think its a mistake not taking any of the enchantment actions. The Undead add our casualties to their armies, which means we need to get high kill ratios to win, which means we need good fortifications and/or troops, which the enchantment actions will directly help with. Under normal circumstances, it might be worth putting them off for long term benefits. The problem is, the War of the Spider starts in five years, the enchantment actions take four years, and all of the learning actions people are taking now take three years, which means we won't have time to do enchantments before the war begins. By the time we complete the current actions, we'll only have two years to benefit from them, and I really doubt that's going to be better than just having stronger forces.

As a reminder, this is a war that canonically resulted in our defeat and near extinction. When the war begins, we will have to be better than we were in canon, otherwise we'll lose and die.
