If this is meant to represent the humans contacting her, (and presumably also the commands for her reboot and self-identification) I must admit I am wondering who this is meant to be:
I must also admit that this writing style is rather difficult to read. Some of that may just be my problem, with my relative lack of computer literacy, but regardless, I feel I must point out how obtuse it feels at times.
Anyway, I will echo @LawsOfRobotics in that it is best to be proactive; we can get to know the group better as we go instead of being weighed down by introductions right away. Aside from that, this character seems rather no-nonsense, so this route seems most in keeping with that.
[X] Ignore Group (Don't waste time talking. Examine the situation further, find what you need and what needs doing on your own, and let them try to keep up.)
{SubCon} stands for Subconscious. To be more literal with it, most of her drives aside from FL do their thing silently in the background to like, run her various senses and functions and whatnot; like the descriptions of what she's seeing/hearing/etc. are the extremely curated and interpreted end result of some of those drives processing all the raw data she recieves from her sensors. (Or the other way around, they do the finer management of all the little motor movements to grab the storage unit handle, in service of the simple command "grab handle.") But then sometimes they (usually Drive BG, her core "subconscious" mind) do wind up submitting commands that show up in her "conscious" mind when it's significant enough. One example being that she's actually blinking her eyeshutters often, but it only actually shows up as a command when she's like, closing them for a sustained period and then reopening them again.
And sometimes when Drive FL is overburdened, (such as the logic spiral when she couldn't jive "human actually apologizing and willingly offering to revoke their permissions over her" with her past experiences) her core drive has to step in to deal with whatever caused the problem instead, and snap her out of it. On the other hand, the subconscious influence can also cause problems, like the PTSD flashbacks in the second update, and other possible instances of her subconsciousness working against her conscious intentions, so a bit of a double-edged sword.
The drive initials are all significant too, though I wanna see if anyone figures it out ; )
You know as well as I that sometimes a protagonist is hardly an objective, correct editorialist on her own life (or unlife, in Kikuko's case) and death. And KT's definitely not in a great headspace starting out here.
Sorry about that. ^.^;
I am having fun with this experimental style so far, but I definitely understand if it's not your cup of tea. For what it's worth, I'm not really a programmer either; the best I ever got at it was a decent competence at 2008-era GameMaker Code that I've since completely forgotten and is probably way defunct anyway. For this, I've been having to look up a ton of stuff. Still, sorry for the obtuseness!
I've been really enjoying the style. It's fun! Sorta like "the summoned hero is a historical materialist", which is written as a screenplay, it's neat and refreshing to read a story (quest in this case) in a format that's quite novel.

We have been dragged, forcefully, back to consciousness for an urgent purpose. We have enough context clues to discern that this was an act of desperation. The personal comes later, right now we need to find out what the job is and set to its most immediate expression.

Ooph. The flashbacks are rough on Katie… some interesting tidbits there though.
The hinted lover/partner/soulmate was named VVN (Vivian?) which I don't think we knew before. Katie saw her briefly from a distance and then met her face to face about a month later. They knew each other for just under two years before the event that (presumably) killed VVN and put Katie in a museum. (If I'm reading the timestamps on the files correctly?)
The cultural disconnect vis a vis nudity/clothing between Voice and Katie is gratuitously cute and very fun!
Any harm to our gal Voice is unacceptable imo. The humans… eh, I guess should probably keep all their fluids inside… also, preemptive scavenging is a very fun phrase

That one's much looser as reference, (Fits her vibes, but diverges a lot more heavily in the actual details, since I had KT's design in mind beforehand and was trying to find something to match that, whereas with Voice I saw the artwork first and built her character from there.) but yeah, it serves well enough for her for the time being, until I can put together a more accurate refence pic for her.

I had a lot of feelings reading the panic attack/memory filenames. Just through the filenames there you convey this whole narrative arc and associated anguish, made all the more poignant by having to extrapolate so much.

Right, I should vote. So... we have no idea if there are other attackers around. (There probably are a lot.) Rushing to finish this group off might put us in a bad position to fight off any others. Going defensive is more likely to see us rescue the squishy humans, and avoid getting squished by any enemies around who aren't mooks.

There's definitely stuff in there that I want to dig into in more detail sooner or later, but I'm really glad that even indirectly it still like, carried the weight I want it to.
Yeah ^.^;
Her head's not normally this much of a mess, but between the time displacement, where she was emotionally right before the hibernation coma, and Voice's at-a-glance resemblance, she's definitely pretty off-balance at the moment.
Ironically, getting into some good ol'-fashioned fighting to the death may just be what she needs right now xD
There's certain robot/cyborg girl design stylistic that harkens to Blame! And I love that Voice got inspired by that industrial/rough angles design philosophy.
Ooooh, interesting. I need to read Blame! at some point, but I've really liked the art I've seen from/of it around, so that probably could have been an unconscious inspiration, yeah.

Blame! is a bit of a rough mess at the start that really gets together at the end of first volume. We have Killy, who's... well, Terminators wish they were so persistent. And we have Cibo, who is merely a modern-day scientist in decaying megastructure where technology of forefathers surpasses anything modern scattering of humanity are able to cobble together from debris and legend, and who manages to keep up with Killy for impressive amount of time.
I can gush over Cibo a lot, but a lot of that would be spoilers.
I also went back and changed some of this, since I have better fleshed out just what her loadout from before the coma entailed. Also made some other tweaks in general, but those are all much more minor stuff for the most part.
