The ground lies red hot with your rage as the ashen clouds crack with thunder and the wind blows harshly upon all those who are unfortunate enough to bear its wrath. Rivers of blood rush their way around erupting volcanoes while entire mountains stab their way upwards all in an attempt to prove themselves worthy to you. Men and monster alike clash with all manner of weapons, weapons which are never scarce due to the abundance of furnace daemons.
At the center of it all, atop a veritable mountain of skulls, you lie upon the throne which you have built from the remains of your enemies and make a satisfactory survey of your realm. Soon, it will be time for you and your endless cacophony of proud warriors to march onwards to new frontiers. Good thing the other three have yet to take this step.
A lone figure lies prostrate before you, a particularly large Bloodthirster whom you would recognize even if you lacked the ability to tell which one of your servants was which with a mere thought. "My lord," he growls, raising his head up just enough to look you in the eye, "it must be time. Is it not?"
An enormous grin whips its way across your face before the very fabric of existence tremors from the weight of your baritone laugh. "Yes, Ka'Bandha. It is time. Today we fight new foes."

Conflict is quite the constant in this universe. Whether it be two psykers clashing energy swords or massive space fleets blasting each other with their ships' cannons, it appears that there will be no shortage of carnage for you to enjoy. But observing, of course, is no match for actually participating in the bloodshed - yes, given time you and your unquenchable armies will descend upon the galaxy and transform it into the newest battleground within your personal realm.
Given your nature as a being outside of linear time, it would be trivial for you to pick and choose the time when you begin your glorious campaign of slaughter. Once chosen, however, there is no going back. Choose wisely... or honorably, whatever the case may be.
[]
Starting Time Period:
-[] Visions of a Chosen One
For over twenty-five thousand years, the Galactic Republic has stood as the foremost bastion of freedom and liberty within the galaxy. They are led by a Senate but protected by an Order of Benevolent Psykers, who for just as long have stood as the vanguard against any lurking threats against . An elder of the Order, whose name eludes you, has received visions of a chosen one who will one day rise to vanquish the Order's longtime foes, the Sithis.
But there are more prevalent issues on hand. Throughout the outer rim, an infamous corsair leader by the name of [
IRON MAN] has amassed a powerful criminal empire focused on the theft and monopolization of a liquid healing agent whose name still eludes you. The resulting shortage has prompted the creation of a task force consisting of a prominent politician and a number of Benevolent Psykers to meet for negotiations at the frontier planet of Tolkien. Meanwhile, another Psyker task force has been sent out to combat a rogue faction of a warrior clan... why this would be important you do not know.
-[] Prelude to the Genetic Conflagration
Two decades have passed since the [
DIREWOLF] war. The Chosen One, now a young man in service to the Order of Benevolent Psykers (or Jædi, as you now know they are called) is witnessing the beginnings of the conflict that will change his life. Thousands of worlds across the galaxy have seceded from the Republic, forming a loose coalition commonly referred to as the Separatists. They are led by a fallen Jaedi known as Count Dooku, who touts a line of rhetoric rallying against the corrupt Republic and its overburdening bureaucracy. Something seems amiss, however - it could be possible that Dooku and another Sith Lord (the exact meaning of the title still eludes you) are conspiring to engineer a false war of sorts, one that will bear no victor.
It will be only a matter of time before the fighting breaks out. Will you play a hand in its development?
-[] Rise of a New, Terrible Order
The Clone Wars have come to an end in the worst way imaginable. To the inattentive layman the Republic's miliary led by the Clone Troopers defeated Separatist forces, but not before the Jaedi launched a rebellion against the Senate's authority and the Chancellor declared the formation of a new Empire. You and those who assisted in the establishment of the Empire, however, know differently: the self-coronated Red Emperor is in actuality a powerful psyker himself, and these events marked the culmination of a thousand year . From his new throne on the galactic world-city, he sets out on a systematic campaign to eliminate all resistance to his rule - especially the survivors of the psyker order known as the Jaedi.
It's almost a shame. You would admire his goals if it weren't for the fact that he was a cheating psyker, just like those he seeks to destroy... he leaves you no choice but to murder him. And oh, what a glorious murder it will be...
-[] Height of the New Order
Over fifteen years have passed since the fall of the Old Republic. The Red Emperor's grip on the galaxy is as solid as ever, his fleets and armies stationed everywhere from the capital city to the edge of known space. His authority remains unquestionable, and his second-in-command - the very same psyker who was once foretold to be his downfall - inspires fear from within anyone who meets him.
But there is trouble on the horizon. An alliance of rebel organizations, seeking to topple the Empire and restore the ideals of what came before it, has been steadily gaining ground on the galactic frontier. For now, the top brass in the core regions pay little mind to it, even dismissing it as a frivolous endeavor which is doomed to failure. But the leaders of this Rebel Alliance know better. You, too, know better than to not join in on the fight.
-[] Democracy Renewed
After a mere 23 years of its existence, the Galactic Empire has fallen. The Red Emperor has died in the explosion of the Second Death Star, and the Rebel Alliance has reconstituted itself as the New Republic - but the fight to restore democracy is far from over. Numerous Imperial Remnants dot the galaxy, unable to form a coherent response in light of the fall of their leader. Past this point, the timeline becomes uncertain. Perhaps this would be the most opportunistic choice?

As much as you would like your raging daemons and champions to pour out into this world with weapons drawn and no impudence to spare, your presence in this universe is far too weak for you to send in a fully-fledged army. Instead, it would be far easier - and perhaps wiser, if you fancy yourself the strategist - to plant a small seed somewhere within this universe, and wait for it to bear the delicious fruit of carnage. Four options present themselves before you:
[]
Method of Insertion:
-[] Chosen Champion
The first plan that comes to your mind would be to choose someone who already lives within this universe - likely a bounty hunter or another serving in a combat-focused profession - and grant them the Mark of your divine favor. From there, they would work to build up a cult dedicated to your worship, and time will tell if they succeeded in bringing you the slaughter and glory you most desire.
-[] Daemonic Apparition
Quite possibly the riskiest of the four paths for you to take, you could use your deific might to bring one of your proud daemons into the world. Summoning a single Greater Daemon would most certainly result in said daemon's horrific death upon arrival, while a single Lesser Daemon might fare poorly against the wrong foe. In all likelihood, this place should be somewhere out-of-the-way and not too populated but with just enough bodies for there to be some entertainment. But who knows? Your word is law, after all.
-[] Blood Isekai
Your followers are as varied and many as there are weapons with which they fight. Why not take some of these followers, give one of them your Mark and blessing, and take them to this new world to fight and grow your following. A lone Chaos Space Marine would be out of the question, but a group of Norscan berserkers could be doable with some chance of gory failure.
-[] Manifest Tome
Being a god of war and battle, you aren't much for reading books - but for some within the galaxy, it might be more convincing than the might of the sword. This tome, if created, will consist of a dark but basic primer on your philosophy, along with a number of rituals focused on giving you more leeway and even summon daemons into this world's Materium.

...and now here's part two of the quest. For those wondering, I do plan on leaning into Khorne's "honorable fighter" aspect, but wanton slaughter will still be the name of the game for the most part.
