Also here are some pictures of our girlfail Disney Princess brought to you by the Bing AI.

These are awful. I can say this without a single hint of shame, because they're AI and insulting them is just a mechanism for insulting scraping-based copyright infringement.

But they're also awful becuase they're not all a Warhammer elf. They have Generic Anime Elf Ears (not at all like Warhammer Elf Ears) and likewise they have nothing of Druchii style or aeshetic about them.

[X] Kiss Her

I am a soft coward and I yearn for our mistress to be nursed back to health under our loving care. maybe by force. maybe emphasis on the "under." idk

Agreed, for that matter my favourite art of warhammer elves is the (unfortunately too-rare) instances where they lean into the inhumanity, like the art for Alith Anar, or that greyscale piece of a spearelf from the 6e army book, where their faces are starkly narrow and angular, and their eyes are just outright black, like Roswell aliens. This is Warhammer, the elves aren't here to be pretty and soft, they're here to sneer and stab a motherfucker.

Werent they like that before being battle hardened and bittered when Chaos come knocking by destroying the Polar Gates and invaded the World That Was?

Even before the Dark Elves split off to follow Malekith and the Wood Elves settled at Alith Anar?
Nobody knows. That's like, before-written-history stuff, we have barely scraps of implication what that time period looked like.

The actual substantive point is still "fuck AI 'art'", regardless.

Am I seriously the only one here who sees the "Keep Her" option as the one that opens most varied drama? We can do wholesome overprotectiveness ("No mistress, no going out until you're hale and hearty or so help me Khaine"), we can do semi-wholesome Just A Caretaker act in a Wormtounge/Lana Raith from Dresden Files ("So you see, mistress, those terrible scions of so-and-so try to take advantage of your condition and drive us against the Temple of Khaine, and we can't allow for it, can we?"), we can genuinly just keep her asleep and dig for secrets ("TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU OLD HAG!").
Also, if she's sleeping in our lab, we can at any moment try to wake her up for love or '''''love''''' if we so desire. So it's a win-win in my eyes.

Keep her involves never only letting her wake up at our desire to interact.

She becomes a thing to possess, a doll to be put on a shelf to be interacted with at our leisure.

I find the dynamic between them interesting and want to see how it is complicated by these recent, dramatic developments. It's hard to do that if we put her in Carbonite or whatever. It can generate drama and consequences, but it's less interesting drama and consequences than having to negotiate sudden changes to the very stark power imbalance that existed in this deeply toxic relationship.

"Keep Her" does not, for the record, entirely preclude the possibility of waking Lilliana up again in the future. The main thing to note is the word order - it means she would wake as and when Thystra required/desired it, in circumstances designed to give the former apprentice as much control over the whole scene and the process as possible.

All of the available options are deeply unhealthy and messed up, by design, but they're all intended to further the same overall feel of the relationship going forward.

I think the general dysfunction of this relationship is a given - it's Druchii politics/romance. I see nothing wrong in doing an uno-reverse on Lilliana - because let's not delude ourselves, we weren't much more free then she is now, with her mastery of Azyr and condependency she could prevent Thystra from walking anywhere she didn't want us to walk. And sue me, but I sometimes like to be a cold-hearted bastard and make choices in the interest of practicality first, drama second. And from those three options I consider Keeping the most practical - to make Lilliana our asset, quite literally.
I'm not immune to drama, of course, but I've already stated why I think we won't lack drama there.

I don't care about practicality at all and, in point of fact, am voting for the option that I feel will make Thrysta's life the most difficult on purpose, because that seems like it's the most interesting outcome. So I suppose we're at an impasse here.

[X] Kiss Her

Toxic codependency in evil BDSM elves. These people are nuts.

It does however fit with our character having the disposition of a Disney princess filtered through the society of evil BDSM elves.
