I very much plan to help Azula, but unfortunately, it can only happen away from the Capitol and her father's influence. Thus we help zuko in the meantime.Everybody seems to be focusing on helping Zuko and completely ignoring that helping Azula is an option why?

Also with Iroh gone someone has to take his place as zuko's teacher/for spirit's sake please chill out guy.I very much plan to help Azula, but unfortunately, it can only happen away from the Capitol and her father's influence. Thus we help zuko in the meantime
It took Iroh years, loss, and copious amounts of/mastery of tea to become that spiritual guy,so we should probably get started on that tea.All I'm going to say is that Lu ten needs to learn to be that spiritual guy.
And that isnt easy
Don't forget the Pai Sho.It took Iroh years, loss, and copious amounts of/mastery of tea to become that spiritual guy,so we should probably get started on that tea.
Azula is pretty much unhelpable as long as Ozai exists. It's actually rather sad, her talent and being Ozai's favorite means she's almost inevitably going to adopt his worldview because he basically controls everything in her environment.Everybody seems to be focusing on helping Zuko and completely ignoring that helping Azula is an option why?
And that's why the father lord is such a doche. Emotionally manipulating his family against each other and using his wife to kill his father and threaten to kill his own son.Azula is pretty much unhelpable as long as Ozai exists. If he thinks that we're causing Azula to move away from his world view and influence, he can literally stop it with a word or two.
That boy had his mom being the best supporter and every time that they are on screen together warms the heart.Zuko is easier because he's already neglected by his father, and Ozai doesn't give two shits about him
I mean it's already too late to help Azula. In canon she was already pretty… set in her ways when Lu Ten died.To try and help Azula, we'd have to get her a waay from the palace from a significant period of time, and while she's still young enough to not have her worldview set in stone. Which I'm pretty sure is pretty early on in her childhood for Azula.
All of which makes the situation seem pretty hopeless from my POV
Not sure if Im remembering right, but he did try to get tutors to train him. Zuko just did really badly until he ended up with Iroh.Which really makes me wonder why he didn't put any sort of time and effort into Zuko. Like seriously, that boy may not be right, but Zuko clearly had potential when he was finally given proper training from iroh.
I dunno about that, Lu Ten was to Iroh what Azula thinks she is to Ozai. And unlike Iroh he didn't give up and return home unscathed but emotionally scarred, he was obviously maimed. There's also no need to go the Iroh route and feign helplessness, Lu Ten the adult would spank Azula the child if they sparred at this point which breaks her ability to dismiss him as a weakling.Azula is pretty much unhelpable as long as Ozai exists. Zuko was fairly talented from the start, what he didn't have was emotional regulation. So he'd easily be baited into traps and forget his fundamentals when he got too frustrated. Not sure if Im remembering right, but he did try to get tutors to train him. I could be wrong though, and what trying means for us is different for Ozai as well, so he could argue he gave up after no development.
Um... Depending on what has happened to Lu Ten, she actually can whoop your ass. Now that is something I am holding close to my chest just in case. But know that the physical injuries that are affecting Lu Ten are not cosmetic. They will affect everything about him for the rest of his days.I dunno about that, Lu Ten was to Iroh what Azula thinks she is to Ozai. Then you are far to late, as Zuko is 11, and Azula is 9 at this point in time, which is when Lu Ten cannonically died.I'd say the turning point for Azula's mental health being permanently affected without intervention is being abandoned by her mother (age 8) + all her friends leave the Capital. If nothing changes after that she gets super maladapted from several years of her only emotional connection being Ozai.
His tutors didn't really help in that regard, and his environment is entirely regimented in a way that would not encourage his growth as a person.Zuko was fairly talented from the start, what he didn't have was emotional regulation.
