Shadowstep (3): Can expend as a free action to move without crossing intervening space.
Guarded Space (3): Can expend to use Damage as a secondary characteristic for Durability, reducing incoming Damage characteristics.

GALACTIC WAR
Victory Points: 5
RESOURCES
TERRAN DOMINION [Background] (1)
The men and material of the Dominion - limited, but they're mustering as we speak.
ALLIANCE EXPEDITIONARY FORCES [Mastery] (1)
While you have access to several ACUs of every faction, they lack economic and technological support to be fully effective.
ZERG HIVE [Mastery] (1)
The scant few Zerg you control that are free of Amon's influence. Mostly Zerglings.
AEON FLEET [Background] (1)
While half a dozen CZARs seem impressive, they're not actually well made for ship to ship combat.
ALLIED COHESION [Motivation] (1)
The alliance is fragile and weak.

Her amusement was like a claw along your back. You glared at her, then said. "Anyway, does normal Zerg romance involve lying to your partner? ...kidnapping? How about forced assimilation? Murder?"
I mean, if we go back to the Zerg home world where they still, presumably, occasionally procreate sexually, then yeah, probably.

Not to mention the Cybrans are probably the most moral and sensible of the three factions, I also really like Brackman and even QAI (before he gets hacked), they truly give a damn about their people and prioritize them first and foremost, despite being stuck fighting a desperate, losing war. Generally most of their commanders are surprisingly decent too. Rhianne is great as well, but there's a lot of extremist cult-like behavior within the Aeon until Forged Alliance occurs and they readadjust as a faction. You are, however, forgetting another aspect. The Cybrans see enslavement via. programmed imperatives to be utterly anathema, and the Zerg imperatives are essentially a biological version of a loyalty program. Something which they have massive amounts of experience combatting, albeit technological rather than biological problems. Of course, at the moment, it seems the majority of it is Clarke's newfound inhumanity and simply not having time to readjust, like her seeing the sun for the first time.

Shame about QAI in canon, though, but holy crap, I still remember that mission where he sends an ever-increasing stream of experimentals at you, on the hardest difficulty, that was ridiculously fun.

Even still, I propone staying Zerg regardless, even if we wind up going feral. Being Zerg comes with many, many perks. Like, biological immortality, or self-controlled evolution, or spawning expendible units without an ACU, or sheer physical prowess and survivability so a mere bullet won't end us, biological immortality alone is kinda essential given canon Kerrigan fucked off for who knows how long post-canon to finish things. Unlike Raynor in canon WoL, Clarke isn't obsessed with her humanity, and canon Sarah gave very few fucks and very obviously preferred being Zerg to being a weak ass human ghost again, and jumped at the first available chance to become one again. Having control of the Zerg is also very important, even if only to deny it as a universe-consuming resource to Amon or Duran, and to be frank, the Cybrans are going to be the most accepting of the whole Zerg thing. Well, aside from the problem with Dostya, but she's still alive and intact, so.

I do wonder if Clarke achieves purity of essence in this arc, we can cultivate learn from the Aeon how to develop our psionics further than we take it in this arc, given that they're basically the protoss.

Basically, so long as Clarke doesn't go back to 'mundane human that can be killed by old age or a single stray bullet', especially for reasons, I'm happy.
Biological immortality is great IMO.

But yeah I think we want to work with the Cybrans' more closely because Sam has a vested interested in making sure she's not mind controled given that even if she trusts Sarah, being a zerg currently means being exposed to the Zerg Mind Control if someone beats Sarah.

That said we can also offer something to the Cybrans given we have unkillable (via respawn bullshit) bio zerg units which would help round out a theoratical Cybran/Zerg Alliance.

"If I die, you'll remake me?" you asked. "Just like this? For how long?"

"Until the-" she caught herself. Weighted the words. Then...softly. Very softly, she whispered it.

"Until I'm...safe."
Does anyone know what hte implication of this is.

My poor pika brain can't really process why this is such an important secret. The most it could come up with is that Sarah is emotionally opening up to us.

Cr blinked. His big, glassy eyes swung to Sarah, then back to you, then back to Sarah. Then back to you. "Um..."
oh this poor li'l babby xzcmcnzxcz
"Zerglings don't have large brains," she said, simply. "You are making him think hard. So, some of his strainmates are coming to help."
ohmygosh it's causing more of them to come in lmao
Cr coughed. "I, uh...and my strainmates need to, ahem, prepare for...stuff."
awkward
He scrambled to his feet, scampered past Sarah and you, and smashed bodily into the other Zerglings, who tumbled down the esophageal entryway to this observation blister. The hissing, screeching noise that they made all the way down the tube was almost impressively catlike.
I vote that Zerglings are now even more catlike and can also purr XD*

[X] Fuck her

Legitimately why would anybody want to be human when they could be a cool monster?
Transhumanism! Or well-
actually yeah, I guess this might count XD

friggin' space magic and shapeshifting and living as long as you can survive (and technically kinda shareable), fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun

didn't realize I didn't post this until like hours later lmao

I guess it kinda is?
Admitting that she feels vulnerable enough to go this far? Iunno exactly either,

Keep in mind QAI, however powerful, cannot operate at full capacity without Seraphim (and in this quest, presumably Xel'Naga) components[1], which makes him vulnerable to hacking as soon as Amon starts doing Dark One bs. Please provide a source for QAI caring about his people - all I could find was tech support for Brackman in SupCom 1 and then rivalry in FA.

Not all the Cybrans are nice - Hex5 springs to mind here. I agree that the Cybrans are the least morally grey faction in SupCom for sure, but that's on average - the cell structure they've got going on means that potential for miscommunication during negotiations is high. Protoss imo are the better bet here - not as far away, we did them a solid, have a proven willingness to work with foreign elements as long as said elements conform to their ideals of honor, etc. We'll need the Protoss' help to kill Daggoth anyway.

Also, I find the idea of the Zerg still being the universe ending threat they were in canon to be a pretty dubious prospect considering 3 ACUs with some Protoss remnants were able to purge an entire (heavily infested) world. Pretty sure the endgame here is going to be going up against Hybrid + QAI, with maybe some zerg or protoss in the fashion of the Mobius Foundation/Tal'Darim (i.e. rogue Zerg broods). Maybe Amon will corrupt the UEF as Black Sun is finished or something. Either way, we'll be up against enemy ACUs, and lots of them.

Hmmm @DragonCobolt are we going to to use standard ACU/Zerg units or are we going to do a HOTS style customisation option where some units will have some special buff for our playstyle.

You didn't like Duran's smell. His name stunk every time it came up. But Sarah seemed to take his words as read.

You didn't like that.
...And that looks very much like two stages of removal from the original Overmind's programming being enough, no artifact-blast needing. Now, the question is, can Sam share that back to Sarah?

[X] "You wanted me free, so that's what you'll get. If we're going to save people, you, your swarm, the innocents out there threatened by Daggoth and Arcturus and Riley and whoever else, we'll do it as close to peers as we can get. I get information, and I get input; I'm not going to be blindly used to carry out someone else's atrocities again just because I used to be friends with them, or more, or thought I was."

???

Was there something that stops Sarah from understanding that Duran is super sus

Was there something that stops Sarah from understanding that Duran is super sus
That Duran has been her support structure and manipulating her for a long while, Sarah's basically Mami if Duran was QB, while we'd be Homura warning him, she won't listen, and we'd be putting a target on our back. We need to systematically destroy her trust and faith in him first, while becoming a bastion of both. Also, likely some level of SEP field or mind control involved, but given Sarah's level of psionics, that is still breakable.

It really depends on OP, given they've been playing hard and loose with personality and event chronology in the crossover. Like Sarah is more her HotS self and has a lot more free will than her BW self, even if she hasn't been emancipated yet.

Heck yeah! one last coherent thought before i sleep lmao, vote edit

You probably want to be clearer in what you're voting for since your current vote has the effect of voting for each thing once rather then a block.
For all intents and purpose this has teh effect of not voting for anything since a +1 To all is a +0 diff in any vote.
