Empathetic: upon meeting an NPC, learn their motivation!
Legendary Commander: Gain 4 Command sparks at the beginning of each mission/combat. Command sparks may be spent to give NPCs orders, which they may either obey or refuse to obey (doing nothing instead.) Command sparks may not be regained via skills or powers.
Hunted: Something wants her - but for what? +1 Danger to all scenes
SKILLS
CLOSE COMBAT (2): Brawling, Edged Weapons
PERSONAL (2): Awareness, Resilience
SOCIAL (4): Charm, Empathy, Leadership, Taunt
MASTERY
ACU Pilot (2): Nanofabrication [Mass], ObSat Operations [Range]

POWERS
The Living Swarm
Vent: 4-0
Effect: Gain 1 Living Swarm spark, +1 per vent reduction.
The Living Swarm: While this swarm exists, move in three dimensions and through anything smaller than a keyhole, reforming at will. You may expend these sparks to cause 3 Hit Sparks in a Area 2 radius.
Area Upgrade: +1 to Area Characteristic

Biomorphic Reinforcement
Vent: 4-0
Effect: Create 1 Biomorphic Reinforcement spark, +1 per vent reduction, which can be given out to anyone within Range 2, or to yourself
Biomorphic Reinforcement: +1 to Damage or Mass characteristic for the purpose of raw physical strength/feats.

Back to Back
Vent: 4-0
Effect: Choose 1 ally (+1 per vent reduction), within Range 1. Each can take one action using one of your skills, any of them that you wish. Once they have done so, you may make a free attack with your melee weapon, getting +1 to your skill per ally that acted.

Adaptation
Vent: 4-0
Effect: Create a number of sparks equal to the enemy's difficulty, narratively based on turning their abilities against them. Works on enemies of Diff 2>, +2 per vent reduction.

Just as Planned…
Vent: 6-0
Effect: Vent 6 heat and create 1 Planning Spark for her or an ally, +1 Spark per vent reduction.
Planning: The person holding this Spark can expend this to get +1 to a skill check as a free action. Using this Stack counts as you are helping for the purpose of relationships.

GEAR
Zeratul's Psi-Blades
Adds: +0 (Edged Weapons) | Characteristics: Damage [Speed] (4)[1]
Shadowstep (3): Can expend as a free action to move without crossing intervening space.
Guarded Space (3): Can expend to use Damage as a secondary characteristic for Durability, reducing incoming Damage characteristics.

GALACTIC WAR
Victory Points: 5
RESOURCES
TERRAN DOMINION [Background] (1)
The men and material of the Dominion - limited, but they're mustering as we speak.
ALLIANCE EXPEDITIONARY FORCES [Mastery] (1)
While you have access to several ACUs of every faction, they lack economic and technological support to be fully effective.
ZERG HIVE [Mastery] (1)
The scant few Zerg you control that are free of Amon's influence. Mostly Zerglings.
AEON FLEET [Background] (1)
While half a dozen CZARs seem impressive, they're not actually well made for ship to ship combat.
ALLIED COHESION [Motivation] (1)
The alliance is fragile and weak.

[x] Kill her (well, try at least.)
[X] "Take me to the Cybran. Now."

Goshdang

Still curious about the psionics and if that could come along later-
But goshdang what'd the UEF do to the Cybrans again?

I wanna vote for 2 of the choices, is that legal here? Kinda not sure

Goddamn, I figured there'd be at least a little more ambiguous mind control before she betrayed the UEF, but it really was as simple as being told "actually using AI is slavery" and she's ready to join the Swarm.

[X] Kill her (well, try at least.)

Speaking of dubious mental influence, let's test the boundaries properly here. What exactly can Clarke do at this point? How strong is the "serve the hive" compulsion?

[x] Kill her (well, try at least.)

President bad but he's not here. Zerg Queen that killed our crew and threatens to eat everyone also bad but here. Kill this monster and then go after the other

[X] "We have to talk"

Really bad idea to attack a very powerful psychic who is in the hewrt of their power and surrounded by minions

And as a reminder samantha was just fed the memories of the cybran which showed the slavery, experiencing someone elses memories is wayyy more intimate and effective than just being told

In the light, they were the hands of a Zerg.

Gray and purple, green and brown, interlocking chiten and flesh making an almost glove-like shape, with black claws. You lifted your hands, trembling and turning them around, to see the soft, green pads of a human's palm, recolored, retextured. Reshaped. Infected. Infested. Twisted.

This update felt hornier than some of the most hardcore stuff I've read on AO3, but then I remembered normal people don't find the idea of having your humanity ripped out of you as you are transformed into an abomination who thrums with foreign instincts and sensations appealing. Sounds fake, I know, but apparently true.

Oh yeah this is when the quest is gonna get REALLY horny

Why can't we both kiss AND kill her? I mean, I'd imagine her emotions are utterly fucked and chaotic right now. She hasn't had time to register anything, just a sudden betrayal, becoming a Zerg, and now knowing that everything in the UEF was a lie in a very short time from her own perspective. I don't think she'd know what to think, or feel, at all.

At least she hasn't had dealt with Zerg before, just Aeon and Cybrans that are both still human. She, unlike Kerrigan, hasn't fought a forever war against the Zerg and won't likely go down the self-hating route, at least in regards to her lost humanity, since she seemed at her core to be a pragmaticist. She seems more like the sort to take it in stride and go 'well, now what'? The other problems, however, will be harder for her to deal with.

[X] "We have to talk"
[X] "Take me to the Cybran. Now."
[X]Dostya Doesn't Need to See this

I'd append a 'after I get my shit together' to that.

Fun Fact (wikipedia)
"In heraldry, an armiger is a person entitled to use a heraldic achievement (e.g., bear arms, an "armour-bearer") either by hereditary right, grant, matriculation, or assumption of arms. Such a person is said to be armigerous; a family or a clan likewise."

[thinks back to what Sarah was just saying about her own history]
Ohhhhhh.

Yep.

Absolutely nothing! Those Cybrans would all still be loyally serving the UEF -- they love it, you know, and they're really better off that way -- if only those terrorists hadn't been going around stealing them and infecting them with mind control software to make them think they were actually, can you believe this, enslaved!

But in terms of what's behind the propaganda, well, to quote Sam here:
DragonCobolt said:
A thousand fucking years of slavery. A slavery...y-you can't escape, a slavery you can't express, a slavery no one even fucking notices! For...for...for...s-s...si...sixty...three million...fucking people!
That is what the UEF was doing to the people who escaped and became Cybrans, and is still doing to many, many other people the Cybrans are trying to free.

As for my vote:
[X] Kiss her
[X] "We have to talk"

And, hm...
I'm not sure now's actually a very good time for it, but Sam might well not care, so also:
[X] "Take me to the Cybran. Now."

Ehehehe~
No complaints here
No way things are gonna be vanilla when you've got mindreading/psychic shenanigans and bodyshaping as feasible options- and they're incredibly pent-up/full of emotions and hella conflicted/dealing with ptsd and trauma
Wheee~

Oh the irony in the propaganda, lmao

Also, I guess that's one way to involve the Cybrans- oooh I wonder if her retaining the psionic stuff is how the Aeon things get involved? Well a bit far rn I suppose,
I'm guessing Kerrigan mightve tried to have them infested too, but it failed cuz of the cybrans being what they are. Kinda a shame when there's themes of breaking the chains on themselves that they share, I think.

I wonder what the situation with Amon/Amon's grip is here, with them I mean. Maybe Amon's stuck with only outside influence now?
