The Zerg forces wheeled in orbit - turning from the striken E1, which continued to burn and drift. The Hyperion moved in, laser bolts firing in every direction as Protoss interceptors streaked hither and yon. Mutalisks shrieked as proton bolts sliced through their bodies and Guardians moved in to bombard the hull of the massive Protoss carrier - its shields flashing and crackling as acid splatter hissed against the protective shielding. Protoss shuttles flew towards the E1 and locked it into a grasp of gravitic tractors...and then all of them vanished at once, snapping away into deep space.
So, the Protoss have Zhukov.

Think they can spare him a cool new robot body ?

I do like the idea of turning her into something very physical, and you're right that the Vampire/Werewolf options are the most fun with built-in drawbacks. Still, there are some very fun options to be had here - another option would be to lean into her SupCom origin and make a biological version of it.

Here's a 'minion master' idea that could be quite fun. I call her - Enchida!

I'll admit, this feels like a decision that deserves plan voting, but it doesn't seem like that's the case.

So, Zhukov is probably dead (but that could be fixable?), Tosh is ditching us, and Matt is getting to hang out with his wife for a while.

People but no Range feels like a very Heart of the Swarm build - you still have an army, but you need to fight alongside it to make use of it.
 
Also, I know that the Hyperion is a different battlecruiser from the Norad II, but when I played SC1, Brood War, then SC2, I noticed how Raynor goes rogue, then has a battlecruiser called Hyperion that is on par with Norad II, then the next time you see Duke, he's in a Norad III and the immediate, obvious plot popped into my head and I was like, "OH THAT'S GREAT!"

then the wiki fuckin' ruined it

I'm not sure how much reuniting the disparate Zerg swarms is still in the plot for act 2 (from HOTS), but if she's ever coming across former allies then keeping either herself, her allies, or her former allies from attacking would be nice

Well I got an insightful from the author a werewolf Zerg being able hide as a human temporarily so might as well take it.

The idea being, Sam remains Sam as much as possible in the mind while everything else about her body changes. To put it simply, she is still an ACU commander in mind and spirit, so Durability/Spawning/Speed reflects her need for a Nanolathe, Speed also covers a few other parts of character growth, development, and desires from being turned. Circle Of Peace can be a physical manifestation of psychic will on physical space as it affects biologics as well as machines, in essence shutting down the physics of warfare within that zone of influence, coming from a need to protect. Reversal evolving from Marksman as psionic enhancement turns near precognition tactical genius of where the enemy will be to shoot them better into a tactical genius to be able to force their own allies to blunder as psychic will ripples physical space once again.

Once an ACU Commander always an ACU Commander.
