My extremely inflexible idea. We're not the guy you go to to have epic one-on-one duels, we're they guy who sits at the back and blows stuff up. My first version had two sniper rifles for hands, but I switched one out for a shield just in case we need a bit more defense. My hope is the Skyshredder chassis will be enough to let us fly out of trouble if we get into it.

I was very much basing this off a mech from another series, curious if anyone'll recognize it.

But you never looked back, and as you shape the fates of entire systems in the space between heatbeats with naught but your own fingers on the trigger you know you have more power than they could ever dream of, and you love every second of it. No obscure political maneuver you've ever pulled off has ever tasted as sweet as the spray of oil and hydraulics from an impaled ace.

I could be convinced to swap to the Thunderclap, but I like the Skyshredder and thought the background blurb as a high end mech used by the Central Systems fit well with a backstory of royalty from the core.

I just had a hilarious backstory idea if we opt for the Renegade Princess wing woman: We where passing by the planet she was on and, to get away from the expectations of royalty, forcibly boarded our ship with her mech, declared herself our new wingwoman and hit the button make the ship hot launch for thr next system...

And her family rather then blame us thinks we're a good influence on her and their retrieval teams have orders to bring us along if they manage to snag the princess.

Here's my plan. Long time merc who's a wanted criminal for being on the losing side of a war somewhere. All about money. Adaptable mech, with standard rifle, long range cannon rifle, long range missiles, and a ballistic shield.

This needs one little change. You will have a boss, even if just nominally, but I could easily write them to be a parent.

Indeed. Our motivation is the most important part. A lot of merc content focuses on freedom or wealth. There is something fresh in just being battle hungry warrior. It's a very Cu Chulainn mindset.
