Ehh, I'll swap my vote. I'd really rather not end up weak with Uglu even if we aren't strong.
Nah, sticking to my guns.

saw this an instantly went for this.

We are Karond Kar sorceress, master of slaving beasts and mortals alike!

A bit concerning, maybe this should be what we choose to weaken? Or at least not what we strengthen in my opinion.
Not really. As it stands, we're pretty on track to have Ghyran as one of our primary winds, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it should also be acknowledged that going that route is essentially declaring yourself to be bottom bitch to any sorceress you meet.

Picking up Hysh to make them second guess that impression is a pretty good idea if you want some assurances.

Mostly, I don't want the Lore of Shadows to be weak.

Not interested in beasts, tbh.

I want us to be unconventional. The rest... Maybe I'll fill it in later, maybe I won't.

I like playing off type, and it's a fun bit of story that can lead into finding some "associates" we can cultivate since we'd be basically an "Off Meta" sorceress who could potentially challenge a Handmaiden on her own terms and prove herself better.

"What if we took a Sorceress... and turned her into a Wood Elf! Or I don't know, made her associated with all the other atavistic goth hippies the Dark Elves have buckets of like the Shades! Or that one Dark Goddess of the Hunt Anath Raema..."

I don't actually find the Goth Hippy argument all that compelling, and I don't think it really examines the Druchii in a particularly novel way. I'm not going to pretend being a space cadet is novel- but I like how it pits us as a misfit potentially poised against her fellow sorceresses while also being weak in one of the Winds Sorceresses place the most stock in. Goth Hippy seems incredibly easy to shuffle off into the preexisting grab bag of Dark Elf Nature is Evil stuff the Druchii have always had cooking in the background. Its fine if that's all stuff in the background you want to examine, but I'm way more interested in how the Convents actually function, the politics of Naggaroth, and the tension between the Sorceresses and the Cult of Khaine- key pillars of the Dark Elves as a faction that are hard to explore from outside.

Why would Hysh and Azyr somehow be more "compelling" than the goth hippy plan? The only thing necessary for what you seem to want (exploring the politics of Naggaroth and the tension between sorceress and Khainites) is voting for Har Ganeth. I also don't get your opposition to us getting "shuffled off into the pre-existing grab bag of Dark Elf nature is Evil". Dark Elves ARE evil, and it's literally impossible that our protagonist here isn't evil as well. You don't make it to become a sorceress by being 'good': being good gets you killed in the ruthless politics of the Dark Elves.

Slander. She is a pure maiden who has never done anything wrong in her life.

"What about the slaves? You know, the first update had her on a corsair ship and..."

I'm a sucker for an evil Disney princess.

I think the combination here is important as well.

Hysh is the Wind of looking at your fellow Sorceresses with malicious intent. Azyr is the Wind of long-term planning. One of these can be slotted into an easily understandable combination and interpreted in a not particularly* threatening way. Both?

We're either too weak for our ambitions, too obvious about them, or actually capable of and geared towards offing competition in particular. Y'all, space cadet is probably gonna be hard mode if such a thing even exists.

*all Sorceresses are potential threats to each other, but some more so
