Kind of weird that the Alliance in the making is Sand-Leaf-Lightning. Most especially the latter since my impression was that they were each other's prime military rivals and an alliance like this is like the US and China creating a Special Relationship, especially with the Hyuga incident. I guess Stone must have done something to piss Lightning fierce. Don't know how Killer B has the authority to supercede A or his motivations, but it's something. I'm guessing that for Sand part of this negotiation was balancing the contract distribution and economic support. Perhaps this alliance went off in canon but A stopped it and when the Kazekage was killed by Orochimaru, he also killed everyone who knew about the negotiations so no one was aware that Hiruzen wanted to make things more equal.

During this mission Naruto is acting as the smartest, it's scary and I find Naruto is the most likely first one among his teammates to learn how to push all of his problems on Danzo to get out of trouble

This plan seems very Naruto heavy. Are we sure we want to layer all that on him so soon?
