Well shit, I've been having the insatiable urge to make a Mage quest of my own recently, having dabbled in the lore and having no one to play with. Different take that what I would go for but more Mage goodness is all I'm after. Of course I'd be a month late to the party too, the Fae make mock of me.

You stand, unmoved. The power lashing out from the cat whips violently at your nightgown, but stops short of brushing against your skin. "I didn't fully leave Arcadia, did I?"

Your mind flickers between the silvery brand on your tongue and the tattoos wrapped around your thigh. "I left a piece of myself there and brought a piece of it back with me."
"Second, you would need to accompany me and guarantee my safety for the duration of this visit, any subsequent visits required to complete this contract, and an additional period of time to last until I depart this place upon completion of the journey." More than one tale had ended with the hero's protection fading at the moment of triumph.
How is the bargain fulfilled? As part of Alice remains in Arcadia, does it mean that it will last until she reclaims that part, or severs her connection to it somehow?

What counts as a 'completion of the journey'?

It really is an excellent setting, but then I've always been a sucker for some magical realism.

That's pretty much it.

Alice "left" a piece of herself on the Tower when she signed her name on it (we'll dive deeper into the metaphysics of it all later, so I won't spoil too much here). But, because so few mortals have ever awoken to this particular Path, Puck didn't know this and thought he'd get a snack for a quick night's work. Unfortunately for him, he agreed to accompany her until she departed upon completion of her journey. And since she has not yet fully done so, her journey is not yet over.

As to what would end the bargain at this point... generally nothing pleasant for Alice.
