An interesting chapter to write, at least. Very fun. Have a treat alongside this chapter.

I don't know why but I was half expecting Abyssal Hunter Gregor since Metamorphosis. Instead of turning into a cockroach, he's turning into a Seaborn.

Not sure who I thought would be High Inquisitor but Don Quixote wasn't who I expected.

[X] Interlude: Wolf's Fang

Alright I didn't remember to react to the last one, so, delayed response!
Started trying to fish.

Don't get why people need a rod.

This shit is easy, just grab the fish with your hands, man.
Most people aren't made of horrendously expensive upgrades man, that's hard to do.

More people coming in. Searching for their lost allies, probably. Similar implants. I was trying to hotwire the car.

I don't understand how this thing works.

I have no idea what this engine is supposed to run on and the car doesn't function the way it's supposed to.

I'm also not very good with machines. Other then guns, obviously.
Oh man I love the murderhobo energy, he doesn't know how to do anything except violence.

Okay I'm a bit calmer now.

I shot one of them with a backup pistol.
Coping mechanisms for a mercenary! I love this man.

They get rid of bodies here. That's a job they do, actually, as their family sort of handles this shit for the city they're in.

I didn't really get it?

I think what they meant is that they do assassin jobs for a bunch of people and naturally have to clean a lot of bodies.
Ah yes, the concept of waste disposal teams that won't take care of prodigious amounts of corpses. How baffling!
I fucking crashed the car.

I don't know how to drive this thing.

I just wanted to shoot people, was that too much to ask for.
Haha Emil you amazing fail-man.
Also, what the fuck.

Those cities move. Entire cities moving around.

This is a pain in the ass. I'm going to have to climb this thing.
Turbulence Office! The weirdest thing here is still the entire geographical features some crazy bastards put engines on, but there being more than one city still gets first mention.
I am now contracted by a Syndicate to kill their political rivals.
What I wouldn't give to hear the job interview there.

"...I would need a mentally stable Operator for that task. Someone with no significant traumas or instabilities. Just to be sure."

The Doctor's mask seems to twist into a pensive expression.
I have to ask, how long did it take you to find an operator that wasn't super fucked up? Because I think that's everyone in the main storyline and most of the sidestories.

The gap in the Doctor's mask seems to close, like he's actually squinting his eyes, but you still don't get a picture of his face. It's fascinating. It's… something you want for yourself. You'd really like to have one of those.

You're not sure if she has the needed convictions, the drive to change the world. Something about her older sister is incompatible with your blessings, but her…
Nearl is just straight up too baller to obey the shitty god, amazing.

"...that's the secret, I guess. A violation of the Head's taboos. With time, the user ceases to be human and starts being… machine, I don't know. All that is left is a solution, holding the mind of the target in its "correct definition." They don't allow you to feed your brain to a robot, to prolong your consciousness- why would they allow this? I don't know why they didn't go after me. Maybe they knew I would leave the City before the line was crossed, and that I would not return."
D:
You walk up to Linette.

You hug her.

"...thanks."
:D

"Yes. The muscles themselves are a product of Connection Workshop."

Kal'tsit stares at the test results in front of her.
I would like to take a fucking nap, please, uncaring gods, why can't you just hang out and play parcheesi for a while instead of making me deal with this bullshit.

"...yes. It has something to do with a person called the "Deathless Black Snake." do you know that person."
Hey Talulah how are you feeling these days? You good?

[X] Interlude: The Painted World
Malkuth reverberation, breaking into the hiki-neets house. I love it.

[X] Interlude: Stalemate

Me when obligatory super weapon waiting to end the world in one single strike

[X] Interlude: The Painted World

Need I say more? Malkuth.

...........
Not quite right, a reasonable conclusion mayhaps but not the whole thing
A corp, arbitration, artificialliality, alpha as leader, Ai, Afterlife
A Corp is not pro human as I gather but rather anti faux human
Otherwise the sefirah would likely have been canned pardon the joke

And yes those are the words I associate a Corp with
Limbus shows that all the wings insanity........... not quite insane
Each singularity affects their Taboos and rules
Example n corps photo taboo and their canned experiences
Thus it goes to stand that A corps singularities (plural) likely have to do with those in effect
With C Corp potentially having the predecessor of R corps own singularity: Cloning

Do pardon my tangent but it's something interesting wouldn't you agree

[X] Interlude: Stalemate

Stalemate because god damn, the Emperor's Blades are gonna throw down with the Helix of the End and I have a mighty need to see it!

The Painted World becaue Malkuth dragging Dusk out of her NEET cave sounds incredibly funny.

Seems like it's a HORIZONTAL SPLIT between Stalemate and the Painting! Neck in neck at 14!

Literally made an account to be limbin' all over the place after binge-reading this shit. It's good shit, like really fantastic writing and I just adore it. Got me to play the turb office mod. Fun mod. Hope my voting isn't fucked up since first post n' all.

Welcome! You might want to remove the first. X. The correct format would be:

im unsure about "all allies" support passives, especially ones that not only have useful effects but also are (owned) and not res or a-res; I feel like shatter the tide could say "two allies with the lowest SP" on a gloom-res of 2, and maybe keep the all allies on Endure, For Iberia! but make it like, pride a-res 3 instead. Lantern's Light should be /2 rounded down, getting a minimum of 3 attack down with it being easy to get more would just completely neuter a number of fights.

Skills! ishmael is very wacky. I initially was a little scared of how fast she'll get but outside of longer wave fights where she has more skill slots to work with its probably fine, and even then you'd need to do like S1 S1 -> S1 S1 to get enough to crack s2 wide open (though s3 is probably good enough even at only 3 haste). The seaborn frenzy skills are all really good, but they're not too much better than Notably OP Unit NSinc and require setup, so i think its fine. I'd like to see this as an identity. (btw what damage type is her counter?)

Don S1 is just standard S1 nonsense but with slightly better numbers. its definitely very good since it has pierce fragility but if the goal is to make a strong identity I think its still within the bounds of the game. S2 is very similar in that its "good numbers, good effect, nothing too insane". S3 fluctuates between being completely terrible and wildly op quite good. In most cases its likely the former and you just eat it with a guard to get back your ammo for more s2s. If she somehow lives on 20% HP (which I had someone do today, actually), thats a nice +8, making it a 4C [1]+11, or 1-45.... which is probably still worse than nsinc, so whatever.

FINAL REVIEW: very funny and i think they would be interesting to use

Not very long, because I am a Purestream stan and have her full maxed out and kitted in every Mastery for both skills, so she immediately came to my mind as a person with very minute amounts of trauma.
Is the second question a statement or a question?

Also, another excellent chapter.
Question, corrected by adding an interrogation point.

You might notice that it's Attack Level down, not Attack Down. It's okay, most people do forget about the Attack Level system- but the values are way too high, yeah. I changed some of the values to make it more reasonable- I don't think there's really anything wrong with Endure, For Iberia! since it only affects Guard skills, and at most is some damage mitigation, but I did increase the owning threshold to 6.

Ishmael's counter is Blunt, as it it would have a literal shockwave from Ishmael crying out loud.

Yeah the levels system is currently kinda funky. Pretty sure they just announced that they're changing it to something that looks more reasonable soon. Instead of each skill having multipliers, it's a flat addition or subtraction of levels.
