I mean...how? He'd need to have some way of calling home magically and then someone who even could move them. Do we think Horra trusts anyone else to have control of his zombie army? Because I'm thinking not. Also, moving 50+ corpses and an elephant is gonna leave a hell of a trail and we have tracking, so...

Fair I was just putting up hypotheticals in case we missed anything.
Also we should definately mention the Elephant drauger to the merchant just to bring him to out side.

Oh, we're going to. Alectai is setting things up to use the draugr, including one of the judges brothers and the missing elephant, as a big reveal. Which I think is likely correct and fits well dramatically.

Can we tie in the Draugr Army to the Draugr that attacked Halla on her way home to Asvir, then add on an accusation of attempted murder to Horra?

"They had the same runes."

What about the general Draugr problem everywhere that our dad and brother had to go the Jarl of Jurdby?

Nobody witnessed that but us. That said, draugr attacks in general have been an issue and we'll definitely be mentioning the runework in question so as to tie in any draugr attacks using those runes they already know of.

One thing we need to be prepared for is for Horra to cast this as a continuation of Steinarr's feud over stuff that was not technically illegal. Thankfully we have enough evidence we should be able to fend that off.

He's likely saving that as a riposte if we should bring it up as a reason to be suspicious of him in the first place. Making it about the Troll negates that quite succinctly.

@Alectai You should probably uncross all your past versions of the plan. The tallybot puts everyone voting for it under the earliest version.

Question: How well-versed is Halla in courtroom proceedings? Pulling a tool for black magic out of thin air in the middle of a case seems like it could cause problems.

It's disarmed, we'll be fine. We'll also presumably tell people we're bringing it in rather than manifesting it out of thin air (since there's no way we're putting that thing in our soul).

By the way, can we say our taking the Ballistae wasn't thievery because Horra already gave up ownership of the ballistae? It's not our problem that Jordan Sharktooth was in no condition to take it.

Never mind me, I thought there was WoG around it but then l found the posts l was thinking of and it turned out that when IF put the OOC lovers speculation to rest he did not in fact make any mention of the twos actual relationship.

Incidentally, is everyone else going to feel our 'larger than life' presence from using Odr? Does putting Odr into our words give us that 'I am a Big Hero Talking'?

Has anyone IC ever commented on Halla having that effect? Is it mostly passive or mostly active?

@Imperial Fister just to be clear we can't spend Orthstirr buffing these rolls, can we? Because we 100% would if we could, but I never got the impression that was an option.
You cannot. Honestly I might roll that ruling back as its just free successes without any cost, which doesn't really fit with the themes of this here quest. I can be argued away from this position.

No, that's probably fair. There should definitely be Crafting Tricks in Forgefire or elsewhere that allow aiding crafting, but then you do pay a cost (in the time and effort to learn the Trick).

You could alternately allow burning Orthstirr for bonus successes but only at ruinous rates (50 Orthstirr per success or something, or one success per Aspect invested, that second one actually sounds cool, if very pricey, and could only ever provide 3 successes)...basically enough that, to do it, you have to open up a real moment of vulnerability for an enemy to attack during. That would also be a price.

Making Orthsirr for Crafting being all or nothing (Can only invest in Aspect units) would be an interesting way about it.

I'm actually liking that idea the more I think about it. It's 3 free successes on all crafting! As long as you're completely safe for the next little while and have people guarding you who you trust with your life. That makes it such a tempting risk to take...
