Paradise Lost (A Dominions/Worm Crossover)

[X] Obey the command and follow along, bear with them to gather information. (0.5X vote strength. You are a God.)

To dismiss surrender as unwise is the matter of short-lived and pitiable creatures. Threaten them with your compliance. Let them fear the mercurial will that gleefully listens to ants despite being of glass.

Also, for reference! There is a Character Sheet now. You hold no Dominion currently, lacking, well, a base of belief.

[X] Attempt to arrange a meeting on your terms to have some semblance of a position of power. Have their representatives come to meet you here. If need be, use the argument of being able to treat the injured in the area. I doubt they'll be willing to attempt to force the issue with someone who so effortlessly eliminated something that was obviously their superior, especially if they're offering medical aide.

Excellent attention to detail on how things were on the ground with regard to Worm canon. You clearly did excellent research.

Well that is an introduction to worm

Trying to talk to people rather than seeking out more magical powers? That's a novel strategy for Dominion, and I'm not sure it'll catch on :V

Sadly, I can't make a full presentation, but the humble 4 slave communion+Conjunction of the Spheres would give our Pretender +3 to all paths, including paths he doesn't normally have entry in. This gives us access to some lovely path boosting spells, like say Summon Earth Power, which will also helpfully keep our communion slaves' souls from withering away into nothing in the face of our arcane might. But don't worry, because we can just use our death magic to ensure they'll be back and better than ever should one of our cheerleaders die doing their duty.

It means we can start doing wacky things like giving everyone borderline invulnerability to any physical attack by making the waters of Stygia rain or enslaving everyone on a battlefield (if we build an Astral booster), or having our new friends explode and be reborn on death, etc. I acknowledge the power of friendship, so that's why I recommend we use magic to find and make suitable friends to further power up our magic so that we can Wish for more friends and to be rulers of this world. It's a virtuous cycle.

Hol' up, let me get my hubris on.

[X] Simply say, "No." And walk off to find power and observe this world, perhaps taking the girl with you. Pergaps Fate in this world placed her here. Nevermind them, they are but ants and will fall if they try to physically stop or threaten you.

Stop being submissive cucks. We're a god, not their mommy.

They can make a counter offer.

[X] Something Else: You are weaker now, and reliant on far more tenuous power than you'd prefer, but this world is merely drained, and even a dead world can still know magic. Cast a site searching spell, and teleport to any locus of Death or Astral magic you find. Astral Diamonds or Death Gems would both be of immense use to you against whatever native Pretender rules.

Y'know what? Taylor is perfect for helping us run our communions with her shard, this is what I get for not knowing nearly as much about Worm as I do Dominions, so let's abduct a super villain and train her to be the head henchwoman of our God-Lich. We need a prophet anyways. The fact this means our god will just be getting hilariously biased information on the Protectorate is just extra hilarity.

Naturally, out of godly pride I can't just discard my own writein.

[ ] Something Else: Enslave the mind of the heroic mortal. they are clearly in need of a lesson in how to treat their betters and would make for a adequate source of information on this Protectorate and errand boy while you have more important things to do.

I woke up with a headache, lets take it out on glowy vein boi.

Nvm it's thaumurgy 6

Hmm. We can give 'free will' to mindless beings with S5 IIRC, so if we knew what we were doing, we could possibly mind control a shard itself (making it mindless if it wasn't already), turn it into a 'person' loyal to us, and then possibly use something derived from either astral or crystal matrix communions to magically bind that shard to us.

We're going to need to find out the conversion rate from USD to Dominion's gold because we need a lab to science this shit.

After consulting with my new prophetess, I have determined that I will magnanimously accept a reward of 2 billion US dollars in gold bullion for my slaying of this so called "Endbringer". Praise and worship are not necessary, but appreciated nonetheless.

The mindless angle is interesting. I want to find out if they count as alive as far as magic is concerned (vampire shards anyone??? Cross-Breeding?).

Sounds like we're going to need to do some research. I'll go grab some Lightless Lanterns, what's the worst that could happen?

We're going to give so many capes aneurysms in this, with us being fateless undead
Just wait until Cauldron and the Protectorate realizes our aimless wanderings are us seeking out nexuses of death magic, so that we can gather the magical might to smash open the Well of Misery and bask in a wave of death.*

*Opening the Well of Misery is one of the most benign and genuinely good things a Pretender can do in Dominions, and makes the world an objectively better place.

An unnatural vigor has come upon the people of the world, their woes, their pains, their very mortality is being sucked away from them. The black lamb, Pretender, has opened the well of misery, making him/herself the sacrifice, drawing all ills to his/her throne providing false hopes to the righteously smitten. The coming of the black lamb of Nation is one of the omens of the end. Unless the unholy well dries out the prophecies state that Pretender will ascend the heavens and lock all pretenders' souls and bodies in the pit of Tartarus.

I wonder what mood music should be used when cross breeding shards and great ones from R'lyeh o_O

Y'all, listen to the smart toast. They have consistently demonstrated knowledge of this setting.

Also stop being cucks, ya godless monkeys.

I don't think Taylor will made for a good apprentice for our style of magic.
Contessa on the other hand? Already a good oracle, and with amount of blood on her hands, not afraid of death.

We don't have to teach her death magic. We can teach her other magics as well. I know theres one certain high level nature sphere spell she'd do great with, it makes 70+ bugs grow to titanic size
