Design by Committee: An Inter-war Armored Fighting Vehicle Design Quest

What if we do 2 seats and give each seat a machine gun?

[X] 2 (Driver and Flame-thrower Operator (not a gunner), each seat controls one of the machine guns)
[X] Diesel

I feel like 2 might be too little, especially with having 2 machine guns and a flamethrower. Anything more than 3 and it'd be a waste.
Also, let's not fall for the 2 tank meme like the french did.

[X] Plan: High Speed, Low Drag

I assume we can't stick a radio in this thing?
otherwise I'd go for a driver, a WSO, and a commander/RTO

[X] Plan: Speed Is Armour, And We Have Speed
-[X] Aircraft: The new BH-33Ls of the airforce use the powerful Škoda L engine, which puts out a massive 500 horsepower. Anything you slap that baby into will never need to fear lack of power, but they'll probably be pricey and eat a lot of duel.
-[X] 3(Driver/MG gunner and Commander/MG gunner and Flame projector operator)

Being a fuel hog is pretty much standard for any tank as is, and there already being a domestic line means there will be spare parts readily available.

[X] Plan: No Frills

And something sensible.

Gotta keep weight low and I'm sure our well-trained soldiers can handle it just fine.
True, however I am almost certain that these tanks will be used in an actual conflict and knowing how well French 2 man tanks turned out....

And considering our tankette seems to follow the Carden Loyd tankette, it might just be a L3/33 L3/35 which is somehow worse, I'd rather the two man French tanks over that.

I don't know what you're talking about, the French are one of the most powerful militaries on the continent after the Great War! Surely they must know what they're doing.

Oh right my bad, they made the FT-17. Surely they must be onto something with their two man tanks, in fact we should mass produce a modernised FT-17. I'm sure it will do well against whatever the Bolsheviks will cook up.

[X] Plan Steam Team
Let's make the most cursed armored vehicle imaginable.

The OM5 ended up only making 60PS (59hp) in serial production because it was overstressed and kept destroying pistons. I am very tempted by the Ford engine, those things are dead simple and got used for everything.

alright we have flame throwers lets go full tilt on the zany, and hell maybe we can have the flamethrower be duel purpose by having it spray scalding hot steam on enemy infantry once it runs out of fuel

[X] Plan: No Frills
- [X] Petrol: The Ford A 4-cylinder is a reliable, cheap, easily available engine that is used in plenty of civilian cars and trucks. It puts out 40 horsepower and ought to suffice for your vehicle, assuming that you keep the weight reasonable.
- [X] 3 (Driver, Commander/Gunner1, Gunner2)

[X] Plan: No Frills

If this tank fails, we will likely get fired and the quest ends. Also Petrol Engines are small, cheap to make, compatible with our trucks so logistics is simpler, and is fairly safe. Any tank will burn if if got shot at enough times, which the enemy will do to confirm a kill. Especially since we have a flame thrower, so that tank will burn even if we used Diesel anyway.
