[x] Plan: I Hate Clown Cars
- [x] Retreat into through a corridor so the clown flood follows you, the tight space will funnel them in and limit their movement.
- [x] Once our team exits the corridor with the clowns still inside, do the following:
--[x] Use Solemn Lament to unload into the coming horde.
-- [x] Have the rabbits form up to try and hold back the tide.
--- [x] Your other employees will form up behind the rabbits as the second line of defense.
-- [x] try to create chain reactions of exploding clowns before they get too close.
- [x] If we are not fast enough to outrun the flood, stand your ground and enact the previous plan without the corridor part.
Acting quickly, you ordered everyone to follow you through a corridor, letting the clerks, then agents go through before you went, accompanying you were the Rabbits, ready to follow your commands at once. Once you were sure you have all exited the corridors, and the clown wave is still inside, you initiated the plan.
First, the Rabbits would form into a wall to hold back the tide, which they were doing the best, though they were slowly beginning to be pushed back, despite their best.
Luckily, this was enough to have you equip Solemn Lament, the guns forming in your hands as you felt the coffin rest on your back. It was surprisingly light now that you know it was there. But you focused on in the incoming flood of red coming at you with those annoying laughter. You almost burst into action, but restrained yourself.
You would kill them all, just need to do it at the right timing, if not, everything goes to crap. And lots of blood everywhere. Either way, it was going to be messy either way, and a bitch to clean up as well, a lot of mops and water are going to be needed.
You shook your head from that train of thought as you aimed your guns at the clowns, aiming as you waited.....
The Laughter was getting closer and louder.
Wait.....
Closer......
Now!
You opened fire, hitting the closet one, hitting and causing it to explode, and triggering a chain reaction of what is undoubtedly......
confetti?
That's not how it goes, you thought in stunned surprise as you watch the, rather small, chain of explosions of confetti and laughter, along with the rest of the flood fading away with echoing laughter.
You, the Employees and the Rabbits, stared at where the horde once were, looking down at the confetti littered corridors to where the Phantom was watching you from afar. Your minds struggling to process what you have you just seen, no words coming out of your mouths. But eventually one of the Employees spoke.
"What the fuck!?"
Well, it is crude, but very accurate statement as you turned and saw the Phantom shaking, before realizing it was laughing. It was laughing at you as it began to fade away, most likely it was either using camouflage to hide and run from you or it can teleport.
Neither being something good for you in the long run, but for now, you were just happy it was gone. That thing was messing around, and those illusions, for what else could be they been, were so lifelike that they were almost the real thing, combine that with it was just playing you, it really told you how much of a danger it was.
You were going to need more fire power when you eventually fight against it.
==========
"Well that was.... terrifying." Sam said to you as the Employees and Rabbits were working on fixing from what is called the Clown Tsunami by some of the Employees.
"Agreed." You muttered as you were helping out the best you can, be it removing debris or just aiding the others in getting fixed up to the Healing Regenerators which have just come back online.
"So, glad some things are back." Sam smiled at you as you nodded back, "I mean heck, if this works by getting Abnormalities, we be gold!" He said, sharing a chuckle with you as you all chatted to pass the time, until Sam notices something.
"Hey, has that door been there before?" He asked, pointing to a door with a symbol of a crown on it. You too were confused by this, not once remembering any doors or rooms. Curiosity taking over, you headed over, Sam following you with a baton and gun, ready to attack anything there. But so far, it was just a room, white in color with black lines forming patterns, leading into a circle and there, on center, was a Throne.
You were briefly reminded of last floor during which you faced off Able, Abram, Adam and Ayin himself. But, it was different much more so. Especially when you saw a note on a wall. Getting to it, you read it.
Offer a Catalyst, and you will have aid in the coming events.
As much as you want think this was an elaborate ruse or something, you knew otherwise when things like this appear, it's best to do what it says, and had your Employees and Rabbits try to find things to be used. In the end, you managed to get four things. After much thought over them, you choose it and set it on the circle, watching it glow and saw a figure materialize on the throne.
What catalyst did you use?
[ ] You made an offering of enkephalin...... despite the being sitting on the throne taking the guise of an androgynous human you can tell that on a fundamental level it wasn't human at all. They made smiled at you like you were something exciting.
[ ] You offered the typical employment form that your agents sign, rewrote part of it to account for what the servant is being called into, why, and what their likely duties will be......... and an old Silver haired fellow came into existence on the throne reading it over with a curious look, before giving you a smile of white and red teeth.
[ ] You made an offering of solemn laments essence, you can not give it away but you can share it........ the inhuman being reminds you of a mix of Funeral of the Dead Butterflies and Fairy based Abnormalities. Death clings to this being as it sits there on the throne with unreadable mannerisms like an insect.
[ ] You offered the fears and wishes of the facility, written as notes, recordings, photos of graffiti, all of them getting a simple message across....... 'I don't want to die here', you even found one of yours from a failed loop...... it was an unpleasant one you wish you didn't remember. The woman on the throne exuded a soothing prescence and the weight you had on your shoulders...... the weight you forgot was there, lifted. She was from the desert and offered stories to comfort you all for many nights.
You only stared at the event as you feel yourself weakened, and falling into a sleep......
