I was going to choose MGoL, but then I remembered that all Servants are dead people, by definition. Seeing how Ghost Liners (an archaic name for Heroic Servants) interact with the Funeral interests me. Especially since this kind of conceptual matchups is what Fate is made of.

Not all places will have the same rules and dress code, and X must abide them lest the world..... gets irritated
Much like kirby in the forgotten world so to speak
X will always be X
But how X is expressed will differ
X is a variable
And the worlds are equation
Expression is key you find
As well as how X can be expressed without crossing the line so to speak
X as nasuverse is complicated but strong if you can leverage it
Elsewhere X may be weaker or be expressed differently than normal

Adding Funeral to my vote cause the Funeral interacting with Servants sounds neat. Also, I kinda thought originally that the abno we were choosing was gonna end up as a "pseudo" servant for us. Not an actual pseudo servant tho that's a different thing.

More akin to tapping into an echo left behind in the facility for yourself

Honestly people are here coming up with strategies where as I just saw the little match girl and went. "Oh hey thats one of my favorites!"
Though looking at some of what you guys have written I raise the question since the story of the little match girl is so well known and given the enhancements "legend" gives people in the nasuverse the little match girl could get buffed!
 
Also we could kill caster the same way his dear Jeanne died so thats thematic! I mean I'm not sure if we can beat a servant given that the quest litteraly just started, but hey we might as well give it a shot yeah?

You are on par with servants in capability.............. you however Don't have much combat experience
Your aim is the best quality alongside your ability to lead others from far away or up close
In short look at X as they were in lobotomy corporation
Then interpret that through the nasuverse servant system
Starting to get an idea?

Like a ruler class servant? Kinda?
 
X as they are now technically has no class
More akin to a Nature Spirit than servant
Though once you deal with Giles you can Claim the caster template though you will need to analyze it
Thankfully your inner self does have access to the facility
Including the laboratories within
Though as much mentioned before
Darkness has encroached on the facility and pests have infested it
You have a lot of work ahead

I have reasons for wanting these two over the others, but i don't want to write them.
 
MGoL is good, but I seen her around a bit too much to want her at the start here. Heck, I would love to see her appear in Fuyuki City instead.

Between the other 3... Honestly the butterfly man is probably the best and most optimal bet, but... he kinda already found his purpose in life.

I think the Scorch Girl, who really just wanted to escape her miserable life so much that she burned herself to death, has a better symbolic resonance to the current X. So against my better judgement, I will pick the most interesting choice here.

Also, I don't think I ever seen Scorch Girl even appear in a quest. So this is as good a place for her as any.

I am glad to see all the choices are interesting and useful, thus I have no regrets regardless of which is chosen

... Wait since we're technically a little girl due to looking like Tiph... and if we have Scorched Girl's abilities. Is it possible for us to be confused as a Servant for the "little match girl"?

They do all seem interesting, but the magical girls are among the ones I like. Also the whole earlier in the thread did mention them before. Plus see the reactions to this development.

Was originally probably going to vote for the magical girl, but I've seen enough good arguments for funeral of dead butterflies to be convinced.
 
Is it okay if I rant a little here? Thank you. You see, I chose the bird, and the funeral is for a reason. The sorceress girl may be bad... But our vibrations simply did not match with her. But the remaining two options ... I love them. No matter how they are implemented, they will leave their mark on our X. And... This is such a beautiful callback to the day that we must never forget... (We will not escape these reverse memories. Things and confessions of our sefir... And today we understand much better how Daniel felt in that fateful day... We were not so different) And the choice between a funeral and a bird is a kind of focus between the very desire of the devastated mind of a broken man that wanted revenge, and so desperately asked the void, where there was no answer, why everything happened this way how it happened, and meanwhile, so that we, alone, without anyone, would mourn all those who left and who, because of us, would suffer or suffer. FZ is well before "You can only summon human is actually bullshit, you can summon Absolutely Whatever" trend really started. People in-universe aren't terribly likely to connect to fairy tales.

Getting mistaken for a servant is... Honestly, not impossible. Actually becoming a Servant might be a thing, given some comment.

The answer is obvious..... in a way it's ironic that the same pests perpetuating the darkness would so readily bound towards the light even if the one in the facility is merely an Echo of it and smothering what little it can give
Makes it all the worst for the poor embers and cinders being denied the true light and heaven above but not even given a chance to accept punishment and hell quietly
In a way though they are not in hell being it's next door neighbor is oddly worse

And yes you could become a servant and technically being transcribed as you think here to the Throne
A proper one however.....
You need a template
And there's a donor right in front of you
It will take work but you'll have access to the template for yourself and for those under your aegis
